@Sodikingemblung If you listen carefully, her voice is pretty damn good. IMHO, the guitar work is often じゃま and in-your-face. The dude is obviously very talented, but at times seems to fighting for the spotlight and gets in the way of her performance. If you're into jazz-type ad lib musical wankery, she might seem superfluous, but if you want to appreciate the original song, check out pretty much any other version, with or without her, and then you might appreciate how good she is.

Different version of the song for sure, but it sounds pretty empty to me without the sanshin. Sorry if that offends people, it's just my opinion (it's like having Scottish folk music without the bagpipes to me).
