It;s my first time going to the MAC Warehouse in Sept so I'm wondering if there will be a lot of Estee Lauder or Bobbi Brown cosemetics there and what will their prices be.
@gee0120 Yes. Prices change from sale to sale so I can't say for sure. But there are lots of blog posts/videos that indicate how much each product is. There isn't a category of MAC vs. Bobbi Brown vs. Estee Lauder. Every foundation is the same price, every shadow is the same price. Shadows last time were $9 each and compacts/blushes were $12.
OMG meepocow! love her! this warehouse sale reminds me of my biology lab test how it's set up, moving from table to table to get 'the answers' lol. i would figure out what i wanted and look at swatches ahead of time, i hate crowds! BTW everyone recommends DUO eyelash glue, the one that dries dark if you wear a lot of eyeliner. It's like the #1 thing everyone uses i've seen it tons of itmes. lol BTW hi I'm a new subbie =)

@eleventh0fapril Wowsers. Yeah people were running to the stations and you knew which people were buying a ton just to resell. We had a game going on where we would walk around and point to the people that looked like they were re-selling. We were fortunate enough to be the first batch of people to get in. You should ask the "returns" counter for the fluidline. I'm sure they would have a ton there.
@fionaman oh fiona you are a smart one. i never even thought of asking the returns area ! hmph ! too late. i got there by 10 and actually got in by 11:30 !!! thats a really long wait !

I saw so many people bringing their entire family including their grandma. They even had roll-ey suitcases and red, white, and blue bags. Totally resellers. One person even brought a lawn chair so they wouldn't have to stand the entire time. Ooooh the people you meet at sales!
i JUST got back from the saturday sale! i totally looked at the monogram collection's 224 brush, but i couldn't bring myself to actually buy it, because i really just wanted the 222. oh well! the free gift was a blushcreme in sweet william, and the charity mac bags were definitely lacklustre compared to your options. however, the lineup today was wayyyy shorter than what your video showed, so i suppose it's a win-win. i'm hooked on these warehouse sales!!
@jennynotjen I wanted the 222 as well. It was sold in the $75 set that had the MAC 187, 165, and some other brush. But I heard it's not that great..like it's too dense for blending.
That's a nice free gift. What was in your charity bags? Luckily we were the first batch to get in and with great company, time flew by :)
@fionaman yeah, i saw that set, but decided it was too pricey because it had too many repeats from my own collection. so now i can't wait for your product wars video on the 224 (meaning, do one, please!)
@fionaman i think there were only 4 products. i didn't take a detailed look, but there was one underwhelming icy green shadow, the taupe eye pencil, a sheer white shimmery lip gloss. no lipsticks!! i could be wrong. i kinda just wanted to get out of there asap! too much chaos and temptation =)
Great haul. Blacktrack Fluidline is great. I love it I use it everyday. I haven't found a comparable to it. The monogram brush is cool. I missed out on that collection. Cool you got Pink burst lipstick.

I am so loving Way to Love, it's so pretty! =) I think I prefer Lustre finishes! Have you tried the Pink Burst lipstick yet? It looks so scary in the tube, but has a great rating on MUA..

Yeah, I love Pink Burst! I actually wanted it but refrained from buying. Glad I did. It's not too pigmented unless you layer it. So it's a very nice magenta...a "Sandy" lip as I would like to say.

You are so lucky to find fluid line! and I recommend Duo Eyelash Adhesive for the glue, but you probably have to swap for it, because I don't think you can get it in Canada. :(
@fionaman The charity bag wasn't that great! Only one choice.. pretty much the same items as yours: Taupe e/b pencil, Prete-a-Papier l/g, Lustrewhite l/g, Brill e/s. Looking to do a swap with somebody. Know anybody that has an extra charity package of the one you have?
@BunnieAngel That sucks. I've been hearing the same thing how they didn't have much variation with their charity bags this time :( You can try asking Amy or Susan if they want to swap.
