I was one of those people that they told had to get tickets for the wild game. But then, someone sold me an extra ticket they had for $50. Sure it wasn't student rush price, but it was good to see the game.

I can't believe you're comparing Goligoski to Hartnell based on a shootout. I credit Goligoski for a great move on Biron and I blasted Stevens for putting Hartnell in as a shooter, but to compare a minor leaguer to a fairly productive power forward doesn't make sense. You may not believe it, but for all Hartnell's dumbass antics, he's actually a good player. He put up 30 goals, 30 assists in 2008-09. But i dont blame you for hating Hartnell..if he didnt play for Philly, i'd hate his guts too.

I think Carter could have possibly scored on Sabourin if Carter didn't make the first move so quickly. Carter should have held on to the puck just a little longer and then go top shelf, so that Sabourin would commit down low. As for Hartnell, that was his 1st shootout...I think if Briere was available, it might have been different, but oh well...shit happens. It's almost unfair that Sabourin made that save on Richards haha and that Timonen hit the crossbar.

I was there last night. First NHL game, IT WAS THE BEST!!! Crosby was amazing, so many moves and tv doesnt do him any justice. Pens fans are the greatest, no wonder all of the other teams in the league are so jealous of us. By the way, nice job in Detroit, they definately learned the formula to beat those old timers, eat your heart out Versus!!

That's horrible about Student Rush. I'm very glad I didn't go now. I would have only been able to get in line at like 4. I guess I wouldn't have got tickets. I camped out for 24 hours for the Carolina game a few weeks ago and got great seats and Pizza delivered by Pascal Dupuis! It's nice that you got tix for Tuesday though. You should consider camping out next time...It's a great time, and we met Godard in the lobby of the Marriott at 3am!

I have some mandatory classes on Thursdays but was down there around 1:15.

They gave out donuts to pretty much everyone in line this time and I heard Fleury was near the front early signing autographs.

Well, I think he redeemed himself tonight against the Sabres. I was there, and he stopped some amazing shots by a really good Sabres team. Buffalo's goalie (Miller) was doing ridiculously good until the end of the game where the Pens slammed 4 shots through in the final 9 minutes!! It was awesome!
