They're actually pretty easy to handle. They've just got a couple characteristics that makes them feisty; they have an independant personality more similar to a cat's (but not to such extreme), they're fastidious about their coats and will go out of their way to keep themselves clean, but thanks to this they're also very clean and easy to housebreak (and sometimes will even do so themselves). The Shiba scream might be somewhat annoying sometimes... but what the heck, they're cute! XD
