I can't really communicate with my parents well. The key thing is that they know Spanish (and some English) whereas I know English (some Spanish). I can't have a decent in-depth conversation with them and it really sucks. I feel I am more intelligent than think and can express myself more normally if we spoke the same language fluently.

The way that kids see how their parents treat them is the way they learn to treat themselves...whether they are aware of it or not....
