    In every term of Congress, Ron Paul has submitted the 'We the People Act' for a vote. This act would prevent Federal courts from ruling on First Amendment cases, effectively legalizing state laws like the one still on the books in Texas preventing an atheist from holding public office.

    It would also effectively re-criminalize homosexuality and re-legalize extant voting restriction laws left unpurged from the era of Jim Crow and immediately disenfranchise millions of persons of color in the south. This would also prevent citizens from seeking redress of grievances from the highest court in the land.

    Even if you don't find the law racist and homophobic, shouldn't it bother you that he claims to be the defender of the Constitution and the only way his law can work is by being so flagrantly unconstitutional that it's like setting fire to the Bill of Rights?
