What does speed mean if doesn't carry meaning, crystal clarity & rock solid rhythm.
No short cuts. Sweat, practice and metronome.
In my humble opinion, it's unfortunate that the name Popper is still being mentioned.

Why are you keeping the "good ones to yourself" that doesn't make sense to me. I mean, if you post them and they really are as good as you claim, then people will want to go to SPAH which is a good thing.

Brian, these guys are all good, and I respect their playing very much, but there's a guy named Pete Elder who can nail any harmonica lick, especially Popper's. I wish he would post some stuff on YouTube. He can play circles around any harp player, including me. He's the best kept harmonica secret out there today.

Unfortunately I do not, Zack. Pete is an AMAZING player, but I just can't convince him to post anything. He's gotten into guitar in recent years, and I think he's as consumed now with guitar as he once was with harp. The guy is a genius and can master anything he puts his mind to. I'm not sure if he's ever attended SPAH convention, but I may try and talk him into coming this year.
