  • fuck!!!

  • monkey R HIV HIV HIV HIV

  • As a vegan, I have to say if I was starving, I'd be right beside them eating. It's a fact hunger is a strong motivator. I try not to use animal products as a choice, because I hate the way animals are treated in the slaughter process. I’d have no issue eating an animal to survive. As least I am trying to be honest about it.

  • This is the perfect video to send to a PETA member to destroy their no-skill lives

  • anyone would eat this if they were starving..

i wonder how many vegetarians would rather die? hummmm

  • bawahahahaha!!! "this is food that plays with you!"

  • hope will happen too you~

  • damn all of you

  • I can smell the burning hair through the computer.

  • fanno schifo al cazzo come mangiano questi qua

  • just a quick question why didnt you just skin them is it because the skin is like pig crackling when you cook it!It looks tasty . i also like your tanto's there great knives but i think you need to do some work on there sideways strength!

  • thats so sad :(

  • The monkey looks like it's stoned or drunk. How did they actually kill it? I'm glad they cooked it; raw primate can transmit some pretty nasty diseases and parasites.

  • crunchy

  • crunchy

  • humans probably would taste better

  • monkey's look so human its creepy in a way

  • Before you hit the send button do most of you ppl ever read what you write? Based on the comment hear you dont. Its very obvious why wars are started and people are agressive the way they are to each other the proof is just in this post. All i see is a man trying out of curiousity, education and respect a native food source that has kept an indigenous ppl alive for a very long time. If you dont agree with it dont comment, if it makes u ill dont watch. Noone is saying u have to do it.

  • true but i still think they should treat dead animals with a bit of respect and not make fun of them...

  • That burger tastes good too doesn't it? Ever smelled a slaghterhouse? give it a go, I bet you won't think much is more disgusting the world.

Do yourselves a favour and find out where your food comes from. Visit a farm, then an slaghterhouse. Remember that Monsanto likely had a part play in all of your grain consumption.

Armchair saints.. Get a life. That is just regular food for the people in that area, get over it.

    PAX

  • I'm meat lover myself. I'm also a person that likesto hunt and butcher my own game, but this video turned my stomach just a bit. The hands looked just a little to close to my hands haha.

  • Then there are those who say "innocent little monkey"... How would you know. I have seen documentary footage of chimps ganging up on one member of their group and literally pulling it apart while it still lived and fighting over the chunks. That's right, they ate one of their own alive.. or at least alive for part of it... Innocent? Hardly. Few animals are innocent, they are all potentually murderous.. In fact cattle are likely way more innocent than any primate..

    Continued

  • There is one poster going on and on about how Ron cooked the meat. I don't understand why because this video does not actually show the cooking process, only the preparation to be cooked (that is incomplete also), so how does this poster have any idea of how it was cooked?

    Continued

  • If you feel that eating any meat at all is wrong then fine, more power to you, but remember you will have a shorter life as a result of your choice and imposing your "ethics" on the rest of us is actually encouraging those of us who do eat meat to shorten our lives.. In fact it parallels murder in that sense doesn't it?

Life feeds on life, that's all there is to it.

    Continued

  • not really lol and as well this couple not to long ago had a baby and were vegeterian or (vegans) as you say and the baby died do to not having meat and the parents were prosecuted with murder.

  • @eminempkr awesome, they should be forced to eat nothing but white rhino in prison as punishment

  • It really is all about your own comfort level and has nothing to do with God or some kind of ethics. That is a load of crap. If you feel eating monkies is wrong but other meat is OK then you are being a hypocrit and basing that simply on the culture you are accustomed to.

    continued

  • You can eat bugs etc, snakes, and other animals you consider more acceptable but it all comes down to eating. Those of you who think eating a monkey is wrong are simply predjudiced by your upbringing. To give you perspective please consider what the devout Hindu thinks of you eating a burger. To them that is the most vile thing imaginable.

  • Most wild food danger comes from people in the first place.

Nature is in itself a cruel mistress. If you are out in the world, away from civilisation and you refuse to kill anything you will be dead in about a week. If you choose to survive on plant matter alone, you will last a little longer (assuming you have OK survival skill apart from your food choices) but you cannot sustain that lifestyle very long (without cultivated crops) so you HAVE to hunt meat.

    Continued

  • lol, on a roll here???

  • Wow.. The hypocrasy in these comments is outstanding. Let me start by saying that I am indeed a Christian. I also happen to have some bush experience and a will to live. Our bodies are designed to eat a variety of plant and animal tissue and it has been shown that meat is important to our health (Vegans live, on average, 7 years LESS than moderate omnivores). Wild foods are generally healthier than cultivated foods but there are exceptions.

    continued

  • Ron were they killed with curare?

  • some Indians used to eat people

  • i dont know how someone can eat something so similar to us.

  • First of all... The burning hair would have turned my stomach... then, they don't really "boil" the meat as we do in civilization. (i.e. 212° degrees for one or two hours, etc.)

Their bodies and stomachs have adapted to this ... err... food; ours haven't.

Indian rat catchers eat rats that are not even 'half cooked'. If people unaccustomed to this were to eat it, they would become sick! (and not JUST "at their stomachs"....)

Not for me! -- But it is entertaining to watch!

    Thank you.

  • monkey soup!!!

  • fked up

  • These people are NOT sherpas!

Sherpas are from the mountainous regions of Tibet.

Geography is soooo far off you might as call them the French Indians of Peru. It would be more accurate then calling them sharpa.

  • Shapra (South America)

Note the difference in spelling. Use Google to look it up, read the Wiki article then learn to check facts before you post. Nobody said they were Sherpa (Nepal)

  • do they spank the monkey before they eat it??huh??

  • that's like....eating my own cousin o____o

  • white people!

The fathers of herpes, hiv, polio, the common cold, small pox and almost every other disease known to mankind.

  • HIV Source = Green Monkeys in the Congo

Cold Source = Like other viruses, originate in birds

The others I don't know. Probably from the wild animal population, also. Man just spreads it to his own kind, not to other animals (most likely).

    This is elementary biology.

  • Theres nothing wrong with eating ANY animal! Im against torturing animals obviously But not eating it lol

Monkeys arent even that exotic anyway! Southern African forces such as the Recces of South Africa & the Selous Scouts of Zimbabwe were well-known for hanging a monkey or baboon up in a tree & letting it rot for a week during training, then boiling it to eat but do it once!

Spend 8 months in the African bush & monkeys become your staple diet, ive got a tin full of baboon teeth lol

  • I fully agree. Monkeys are not even high in intelligence. Pigs, dogs, even birds are smarter. As food, though, I would not go there. They are the source of many human diseases, and are full of fleas and lice..

  • Ron isn't eating the monkey for shock value. This isn't a moral question. The monkey isn't an endangered species...which would be the only rational reason I can imagine not to eat it. Fungus, worm, chicken, cow, monkey... being "closely related" applies to all us critters--it's only a matter of degree. Ron is simply courteous to his hosts and free from our inhibitions and prejudices about food. He's deep-diving in the cycle of life and death. Don't like it? Fine, go back to munching your GMO's.

  • Very intelligent reply. If monkeys were not around, then bears would have have been "proclaimed" our closest relative. It turns out bears have 90% DNA in common with us. Ants have 75% DNA in common. It is not just DNA percentage, but the type of promoters and inhibitors that function along with the DNA.

For intelligence, I would take a pig, dog, cockatiel or parrot, any time. They can even be housebroken: a monkey cannot, unless it is severely disciplined. Apes will eat their own pee and feces.

  • dogs also eat their own shit. pigs roll in it and parrots sometimes shit on our fruit that grows in the trees. hence why i'm speaking shit!

  • I love people who make these type of post because I guran-fucking-tee that you would not nibble on a monkey hand, especially the way Ron prepared the "meal".

  • Wanna put your money where you're mouth is? I'd eat you too except it's not the kind of pussy I prefer.

  • Good one. Anyway, you can go about eating monkey buffet with Ron. Most sane, rational people in the western world stay away from bush meat because of all the diseases it carries, not to mention the thought of eating a creature that looks similar to us. Im going to stick to my chicken, beef, rice, fruits, vegetables and fish. Bon appetite!

  • Lol. Cool for you. I have limits, of course. Like eating raw brain from the skull of a living, restrained monkey...that'd just be f****d-up. But seriously, your farm-food, GMO rice soy & corn, pesticidal big-agra fruits & veggies and your mercury-laden fish don't stack up to unadulterated wild food...I'd take the latter any day (for health, anyway). Where did you get the idea that game meat is risky? I use this dancing, glowing orangey thing that grows on hot sticks and logs to make it safe.

Re-read my post. I said BUSH meat was a risk to consume, especially eating monkeys. Google it if you don't believe me. More specifically, when monkey is prepared the way that "Ron" cooked it, the risk on contracting something is even higher. This leads me to my original observation that no one in their right mind would eat that shit. You certainly wouldn't get me to. What makes you think that I don't eat organic? Cause most of the time, I do.

Sure, I'm taking a risk eating GMO's every once in a while but I'm pretty sure that every North American has eating some type of GMO. Misery loves company! To be honest, I don't lose sleep over it. Not everyone has the means to hunt for every meal they put in their mouth.

  • how many more trips are you going to make out there. id love to sit down to dinner with you some time and share a turtle or whatever we come across.

  • quite natural it dont think any less of u cause u didnt do anything bad

  • if i had to i would.

  • "Untermenschen!"

  • lol and i guess you didnt notice the dog licking it in the beggining....if this were properly prepared...and you told me it was chicken...i would eat it

  • these little monkeys without hair look like children..

  • Been there, ate the monkeys and left.

  • good answer, haha

  • @Slamaxe Wow.. Crazy.. Looks like you are eating a Baby.. I guess all cultures survive how they can.

  • becuase the creature of god finish so u guys don't have anything wild animal to eat...

  • no wonder god live us the message the world will ending someday...

  • Don't u all have anything else to eat? you are totally disgustsing and should just stay in a jail

  • stupid kid stfu

  • fucker u all are eating a monkey human

  • Family and God... a living example of hypocrisy. starts out with a curse and underscores his ignorance with a comment about biology and what it takes to be a human.

    Humans taste different. :)

    Sad

  • do u know that animal was living like culture life as human......if anyone destroy our human as we destroying the monkey.....

  • it's sad.. but most of us do eat meat-- and obviously we aren't exposed to it.. and don't see them get killed.. think about it..

these people need to feed their kids and if they have to kill a monkey.. y not?? i would

aww; the monkey was soo cute tho

  • ROFLMAO

  • oh my fucking god stop saying that monkey is the same as human read a fucking book. ya they say only 2% dna diffrence between us.. thats a lot people a whole lot do you know how many strains there are in 2% trillions so dont even start that bull shit. besideds monkey is good

  • omg u almost ate human beeing

  • who ever eat monkey, G o home and eat your family too

  • For a while I thought I was watching an alien autopsy video.

  • Try packing peanut butter loads of protien for you :)

  • cant u gut and skin it first??

  • I am fine with killing animals and eating them, but I think the monkey is way too human looking for me to be comfortable...unless it was a serious survival issue. Especially when you scrape off the hair, looks like a little kid. eew.

  • They totally did wrong, monkey isn't cook like that. It should make as sashimi.

  • AIDs sushi?

  • looks like a hiroshima victim

  • Do they eat the monkey's brains too? I have to admit, that monkey hand looked pretty damn tasty :)

  • that is just wrong, period... You can't go around eating monkeys just cause you're hungry....

  • here's some food for thought:

did you ever consider that plants might have their own "culture"...their own consciousness? Plants and animals both strive for survival in a myriad of ways. Why do plants struggle to survive, just so some dumb group of animals can homogenize and harvest them?

  • wurlybird9 : Yeh ahh did. Pass me thet thar peppuhsauce fer this heah ham n' collards, heah?

=) Sorry, just playing.. but when I get hungry, I'm gonna eat somethin'. Don't much care if or what it 'thinks' about it. Rocks don't sit too well with me... and the last time I ate one, it's family conspired agin' me and plumb busted up my windshield!

  • These people that kill, skin, and eat other beautiful helpless creatures...these people that do this...should all be extermenated from the face of our planet. These people are primitive and evil. These people are the ones causing all the serial killings and greed, destroying our planet, our environment for the innocent, the meek. "The meek shall inherit the Earth". This means peaceful creatures, beings that do not eat, harm each other. Your evil with come back to you.

  • You are a fucking idiot. You talk about saving animals these people use for food and in the next breath recommend killing people. Your type or arrogance is responsible for the hypocrisy that infests our planet and the ultimate cause of many of the problems we face. Go blow yourself.

  • lets salvage every living by not eating anymore, you start first. your arguments are so empty and mixed with religious crap, i can't even believe that this happens so fast after our ancesters had to kill to eat. Go play with you're Wii and watch your plasma tv, read your magazins, eat your plastic wrapped vegetables and die of cancer. And as for the other comments, animals don't have emotions, we project our emotions in animals. Eat to survive. Period.

  • I second that, though, I am enjoying my Wii right now. But I rather live by killing other animals and eating them that play with my Wii every fucking day.

  • You're probably a "Christian", aren't you?

  • you idiot-- those natives need to feed their kids! and if they have to kill a monkey.. FiNE

would you let ur kids starve instead of feeding them meat??

  • this shit is awesome dudes.fucking monkeys are evil.

  • esta madre es lo mas cercano al canibalismo

  • crazy

  • I eat vegans.

(Just kidding, I couldn't help myself...)

  • 5 thumbs down 4 truth, 4 thumbs up 4 lame joke

gandhi, einstein, tolstoy, join the human race folks

  • it looks crunchy,but it's very pity

    DAMN YOU! y do u nid 2 show d cutting of it's body parts!monkeytarzan(maonkeytarianz)!

    YUCK!well at least it was....

  • Yuk! You have to starve me before I'd eat that thing.

  • people the only reason they are eating it is because they have no god no love for animals.shame on the ones that eat the monkey.may allah cook them in hell like that cute monkey

  • No Burger King or Grocery store in the very least.

  • Keep your religion in your pants you disgusting fundamentalist.

  • why dont they skin it before instead of burning the fur off, it must smell like crap

  • this is horrible. cannabalism.

  • friggen vegetarian meat rocks!

  • OHHHH YEAH!!!!!!!!! ^_^

  • amına kodumun cocugu

  • Dolumu ye orospu cocugu trans

  • that was so crul i dont know how them people could eat an inocent monkey i wish one bites the shit out of them

  • Shutup you pathetic hippie vegetarian monekys deserve to die because there to close to us humans :) they freak me out.. ansd they are to smart so monkey should die.. well i dont relly hate chimpanzees but oranguatngs give me the shivers... ahh

  • "They make me question the world around me, and therefor deserve to die. I am God."

You need to stand back and look at things, mate.

And shut the fuck up while you do.

  • u r god?u r just a piece of smelly dry shit.

  • Wow. Can you not recognize satire?

  • they dont know how to gut an animal and cook one. There are much better techniques for doing this correctly. That film was just for shock value and doesnt educate anyone on how to prepare a monkey to eat.

  • Just another meat product. Cows Cats Dogs monkeys and in extremis people, have been eaten by people. It's easy for us to judge the behaviour and cultures of others from the comfort of our armchairs, but the fact is that people lead different lives in different countries. In India for example, the Cow is Sacred. But to us it's steak or a Big Mac..... Horses for courses

  • It's not the consumption of meat that's the my beef (no pun intended), it's that monkey is too close to us biologically to be eating. You tell me you weren't a little disturbed with the guy holding up the dead monkey like that? It didn't remind you the least bit of a little boy? Pause the video at 22 seconds and tell me you don't feel a bit of remorse consuming such a creature. There are millions of other mammals, reptiles, amphibians to eat. Why would you eat something closest to us?

  • monkeys are just similar in shape, biologically we are much closer to a cow or even to mice

  • Take a basic biology course you idiot.

  • No, unfortunately he is right, a mouse's DNA is a 99% similar to ours, a cow's is a 95%, and most monkeys don´t even reach 80% similarity, so... I think He is not the ignorant...

But don't worry, most people don´t know that

By the way, I teach zoology at the UCD University of Dublin.

  • your probably right, but for a few creatures on this planet that walk with 2 feet...grab with one hand...and climb...and most likely have 5 digits on each hand.....your science may be right....but eyes never lie.

science was created by mankind. Humans dont know everything about earth, and most likely will never fully understand it.

A human child's hand would probably taste a lot better then that monkey's hand, as the guy said in the video "theres alot of fat in the hands".

  • Eye's never lie? Hahaha.

  • Wow your an idiot.

  • we're all close, (fukoff about 'closest', u wouldnt eet it because it freaks u out but u care not 4 other animals that look different?, sound like speciesism (sp?)

ill ask u, why would u eat a living being that has feelings when it is unecsessary?

  • most people would not eat living things, they wait until they are dead. :P

if you don't like nature's way, that's too bad, because something has to clear away decaying death, if not people or other animals, bacteria will do the job.

Kindness will not change the fundamental nature of our reality. If you really want to eliminate death and suffering, why would you want to save "nature?" Nature is cruel. You could put an end to the cycle for future generations by blowing up the whole thing.

  • Why are you worried about how you spelled one word when every other word you typed is barely readable. Why start there?

"u wouldnt eet it because it freaks u out but u care not 4"?!

    Are you fucking joking?!

Go to kindergarten and start there you uneducated backwoods hick!

  • Your point is good and your question valid.

But it's a different culture. That should be enough to consider.

  • I disagree

It's not about "culture" at all. "Ron" is obviously comes from a North American culture and is clearly making this video for shock value, nothing else. It would be a different story if it was a native eating the monkey because of their ancestral heritage. Of course, he still has the right to eat what he wants, but I find it fucking disgusting about the way he goes about eating it

  • People are so closed off from the world..

  • Avnohanover , I´m going to invite you to a monkey buffe one of these days. I bet your attitude would change then wouldn´t it?

  • Are you suggesting I wouldn't eat a monkey if it was offered?

  • Yes I am. Especially if it was prepared before you like the way the jackass on this video "Ron" cooked it. I´m fairly confident most sane, rational human beings of Western culture would chicken out. Maybe not though. It´s possible that you´re like Andrew Zimmern who will eat anything under the sun including penis, live worms , and testicles. If you think you could stomach raw monkey, more power to you! I´m comfortable eating my chicken and rice. : )

  • Gee Chris, I hope you never have to kill a chicken and collect rice. You'd be out of luck in a hurry. Good thing about monkeys, there's no such thing as an idiot monkey.

  • I count myself lucky that I don't have to hunt and gather my food like my ancestors did centuries ago. What makes you think I would be out of luck?

  • wow.. delicious! i wana try!!! but can i try ur son? bbq favor not bad.

  • If you're going to type... CHOOSE A LANGUAGE AND DON'T BUTCHER IT.

    Hillbilly.

  • god save from the people like this!

  • Keep your religion in your pants you disgusting fundamentalist.

Go suck on a shotgun, "Christian".

  • try surviving in the wild with nothing but monkeys.. you eat animals too theres no different so dont say its shit

  • Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............BBQ

  • Statement without argument.

  • Forget "argument," this doesn't have coherency.

  • wow you people are dumb just think about it we eat cows they eat Monkeys its fact that they are MEAT!!! and hi to all you dumb fucks out there saying iy looks human so its not ok...?

If the Right-for-lifers where not protecting your ass I would eat you before a Cow or Chicken.

  • OMG-- This is wrong.

  • mmm good eats

  • thats sad they eat monkeys i wouldnt someone needs to stop violence to other animals except chicken and beef and some more because i like thats but thats just sad there eating human beings am i rite

  • no, you're not right.

  • it looks like there cutting up and eating a small deformed human O.O gross

  • Hellooooo??? They live in the jungle. Their eating of monkeys is as common as our eating of pizza.

  • It's pretty damn clear you mother fuckers are cannibals. Like monkey meat huh???? Once you scraped off the hair, pretty obvious it looks like a human! Fuck you assholes! Try eating me, I would fuck you all then eat you alive.

  • Since when were humans monkeys? Oh that's right, we aren't. We're apes. In fact, we're homo sapiens. That means eating anything that's not homo sapiens is not cannibalism. But yes, I would kill you and (possibly, although I'm afraid you'd infect me with whatever disease you have that's eating your brain) eat you if I could, because you are clearly too unintelligent to be considered human.

  • Hormones and inadequacy issues raging?

    Aw..

  • lol poor monkey! did you see its expression on its face lol

  • didnt they use to be our ancestors if they did why are we eaten them O.o

  • savage? this goes on every single day on an enormous scale. no, not monkeys, but have you forgotten where your supermarket meat comes from?

you're sadly deluded if you think this is any worse than how you get your own meat.

    start thinking....

  • yea, i agree people think their meat grows on trees or something

  • intensity in ten cities. james brown was in this vid.

  • puase at 00:17 thats james brown

  • you fukin idiots its surviveal u wouldnt kno about it u buy everything from a super market to your conveinience its no difference from eating a beef burger u gormless twats the only difference is that u dnt have to sluaghter the animal yourselves ....but why are they cooking james brown

  • IN-LAW!!!

  • Survival kadar salak adamlar yok.. yakında önce s...ıp sonra yer bu adamlar.. bu tabirim içinde kusura bakmayın ama çok kızıyorum bu adamlara

  • Seriously you guys, shut up.

    It's called survival.

Our distant ancestors used to do that, too.

  • Survival? That was a frickin' camping trip! Stranded in the midst of a jungle, sure it's survival, but this is savage.

Mankind evolves at a flexible pace it seems.

  • savage..?? LOL sure it is.. but daaamn, im not even sure what i would do in that situation

  • Well the info does say that they eat monkeys regularly :/.

  • that was pretty damn savage
