@hegadem at least the German language seems to have a more sensible basis to how it is made up. try teaching English to someone and explaining the logical things like why is spelled forty when it comes from four and fourteen has the U in it (even Americans spell it this way and like deleting the U from English words (ie humour, colour etc)
