Why is Judah Smith placed on such a great pedestal by these silly kids, along with so many others? 1. Why would anyone want an endorsement by TD Jakes who believes a heresy in terms of the Trinity? I really don't understand it. 2. Judah is a gifted speaker, but where's the FULL gopel presentation? He does not talk about God's judgment and wrath upon sinners. It is God who is punishing in hell and it's the law that reveals our sin, Rom 7:7, Rom 2:16. Enthusiasm must include truth as well.
@solaphyde Maybe you missed it when Paul said that its the goodness of God that leads to repentance. Or maybe when Paul said that if the ministry of condemnation had any glory, how much more does the ministry of righteousness. City Church is just going to keep preaching Jesus, His Love and His Grace. You dont like that...hats cool, but sinners should be shown how amazing the Love God has for them, and not His wrath; His wrath has been put away from the death of Jesus. L2Gospel

Look at the surrounding verses of "the goodness of God's leads us to repentance". Rom 2 is in the context of God's judgment! Sorry, but I think you have missed that. We see his goodness against the backdrop of our deserved wrath. Also, look at Rom 2:16, "on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus."
