@mjn76 Since when was it ignorant to not be able to speak a foreign language. Also, in case you didn't know, Pearl Jam usually writes their set list in the minutes right before a concert; chances are, he came up with saying what he said in Spanish only minutes before the concert as well, because that's how he rolls. He likely got someone to scribble what he wanted to say on a piece of paper back stage and tried it once or twice before going on stage.
