NRL is a terrible sport, it's just fat shits and islanders running head on into each other until there is a break in the play. AFL is an athletically demanding sport, with only the best athletes succeeding at AFL level. Look at Karmichael Hunt, he played and trained for Aussie Rules football for 24 months before making his AFL debut and was still rubbish until later in the season. AFL players like Max Rooke and Lance Franklin would dominate the NRL.

Yeh ill give him that but AFL grounds are much larger than NRL and if he plays Full Back which is where most people believe he will play he will have to follow the full forward around everywhere.And also our quarters can go 30-35 mins and the clock stops NRL halfs are 40 mins straight the clock doesnt stop,so if you think about he is playing 2 games of rugby in one night if you count up the mins.

The highlight of this Grand Final for me is seeing Frank Costa, Brian Cook and so many of the Geelong administration and coaching panel that were involved with the club as a player that were part of the losing teams between 1989 and 1995 standing on the interchange line with about 10 minutes left.

That is the most magical thing I have ever seen from a point of team unity.

In terms of magical in the football field - nothing will ever beat Gary Ablett Snr.
