@kennyw31 its a toyota corolla ae86, normally you paint them inside but, this is used body so I painted from the outside to cover the old paint.

@DRFTification Counter steer, is the same thing as the Scandinavian flick! Talk to Doc from the movie Cars. As you approach a turn, you momentarily steer away from the turn, which unbalances the car, and it will start to loose grip. Then as you steer in the turn direction, the rear will 'flick' the other way, and you start your drift.

hey. how are ya. I got a 16t pulley in the front and a 14t pulley in the back installed now. the rear spins a lot faster than the front (the belt / pulley teeth are pretty huge). I can kick the rear really brutally receiving a nice angle while counter steering. I have a 17t pulley coming in in the next days. I hope that will boost it a bit more. unfortunaly 17t/14t is the maximum for ta03. and I have a little question, how much camber do you have in the front? I have standard -1 on my ta03.

I think you have it backwards. We run smaller center pulley for the front and bigger center pulley for the rear.

Front diff pulley is bigger than the rear spool pulley.

My setup

40/15 front

33/23 rear

Camber you can run as much as you want were running -10.

i want to try this out with my ta04 but I'm trying to find a bigger drive pulley. and it's hard to find cus tamiya pulleys use a hex screw to lock it down to the shaft instead of a pin as it would on a cyclone.

Thanks! Go to speedtech and check if the cyclone sport shaft matches the ta04 shaft. The regular cyclone doesn't have holes only the sport version.

I don't think the cyclone shaft would work on a ta04 because the shaft is too short and the ta04 shaft has a spur gear adapter on it. i wonder if there are any other shafts that would work.

or if i could just find a bigger pulley that would work on the ta04 i would be good

The 3racing shaft for cyclone has both adapter and pin holes. Check if they one for ta04.
