I agree with most of these comments on how, Ellen Pompeo ( Meredith ) should be with him instead of his wife, but you have to be able to distinguish reality from non reality. Ellen is his wife on television. He has a different wife in real life. We can't change that. It is, what it is... :)

I really like his wife actually, well, not that I know her but from the impression she makes during the interview - I think no one can judge who's not in her position because it must be really tiring always getting asked about your husband after a while ... and I don't think she's ugly at all, she looks like she has got a good sense of humour so I'm sorry, but 99% of those comments are pure jealousy. ;)
