Hi- I'm the developer for this app. A quick note since you posted this. Version 2.0 was just released and improves on the following:

1. Faster and more realistic movement of the pointer

2. Much larger and more sensitive touch area

3. Faster scare effect with random rotation to make it a little different

Tell me what scare effect you think your cat would like and I'll add it, and give you and your cats credit!
