Sounds really good for a piece together kit. You should take the Fit and dyno it just to see how much you increased in HP and TQ it would be interesting to see how it stacks up against a professionally made name brand intake.

since its jus a SRI u should have a heat shield on it so u get cold air and not hot air from the engine i have a heat shield on my AFE SRI on my fit

Napalm....spraying or N/A?.....you do know that NA stands for Naturally aspirated right?....which means no turbo...no super charger....no spray...just an engine like they sent out from the factory

I can understand your disbelief. I did neglect to mention the addition of the Tri Phase module from Next Level Racing. I am an old guy, and have probably spent more time and money on performance items than most people. I have no need or desire to lie. The well thought out combination of items I used to enhance the performance of my car,did so. The performance gains amazed me, and I shared my experience on this forum. Believe what you want to.

I damaged the aem cai on my Fit, and had to eliminate the lower tube and filter. I'm using an autozone filter on the upper aem tube and the results are amazing. 0-60 in 7 seconds and got 37.8 mpg driving 80 to 90 mph, with an average speed of 64 mph due to slowing down through 5 towns. That was on a 329 mile round trip. Thanks for influencing my purchase,and saving me money as well.
