To all the liberals sying that Palin is too extreme:
Just because someone is pro-life does not make that person exteme. When you paint so moany people with such a broad brush, those people tend to ignore you. I always thought that liberals were for finding common ground.
Obama would settle for defeat in Iraq. He would negotiate with the terrorist supporting regime in Iran. He would promise to take care of everyone in the country. He would promise free health care, lower taxes, no wars. He can not deliver, but he can promise. Hope and change. Hope and change. Not a very specific mantra. Sounds good though.
This should be on Digg, Politico, face book and any other place to be seen. How dare Palin put down community organizers. How does she believe she became mayor. We all need their help in order to accomplish anything.
I strongly dislike Palin because of her views, willingness to abuse power and the nasty personal attack she made Wednesday night. I also think she is a fake - not a real reformer, but a two-faced hypocrite.
But please don't demean her as a beauty queen and reporter, even if it is only giving back what she gave. Don't imply she was only picked because of her looks, etc. She was picked to pander to the Evangelical extremists and because she had an interesting Washington outsider story.
Well said ny2germany. To reduce Obama's experience to only that of community organiser, and to disregard the long list of his other achievements is an insult - and yet Palin is demanding deference before she'll deign to give an interview? How priggish, pompous and self-serving.
The Community Organisers of America knew exactly what she was saying, and they're appalled at her rudeness.

Basically you insult good people by framing Palins comment. It is clear that her comment was a response to Obama's attack on her Governorship as a nonqualifier for higher administrative office. She simply compared the responsibilities of an obscure Community Activist to those of an elected official who is legally answerable to those communities they serve. You attempt to spin her comment as a personal attack on Community Activists. This is a clear attempt to dissuade the viewer from the truth.
It should also be noted: Community Activists are equally capable of community exploitation. You could just as well, and should, have included British loyalist and opportunistic flipflopers in your list of early activists.
I fully understand, and agree (as I'm sure S. Palin does as well), community organizers become more vital when ever a community loses its ability to repel repression (whether internally or external driven) due to internal fracturing or general complacency. After all, Governors are Community Activists. Her comment was clearly a correct response to the tenuous "qualification" of B. Obama's ability to properly administrate the U.S. Government, based on the limited answerability an activist enjoys.
This comment doesn't really deserve a response, But I'll take the time anyway. First, in case you haven't notice our country is losing its ability to repel repression and indeed finds itself at a m period of internal fracturing or general complacency due to the horrendous policies and leadership of the current administration and it's Party. So to use your hypothisis NOW is exactly the time for someone of this nature to come to the fore.
Second, to suggest that Community Activism is all that Barack Obama brings to the table is an insult not only to him but but to every United States Senator and Representative, John McCain included. As well as every State wide official under the level of Governor thoughout the United States!! Many of whom represent Districts or Cities with far greater populations and intricacies of problems than that of Ms Palin.
Sarah Palin slammed those who also helped her into the Governors' office by slamming community organizers!Sarah is getting bolder & bolder!

So much for YOUR patriotisim. But don't worry we won't hold it against you.
I'm sure it was hard enough heating up that one brain cell to the point where a semi coherent thought could emerge.

Palin's experience losing beauty contests and reporting on dog sled races are more important for what the McCain campaign wants her for: Spokesmodel!
Just smile, look nice and read the telepromter. Why on earth should the desire to help people be a good trait for a public servant?
