After john ritter died, they canceled it, but decided to continue instead, and after a few more seasons. they canceled it. I want more of this serie, but it's not possible, but if it makes you feel any beter, they will make a movie about it called: 8 simple rules for marrying my teenage daughter, it's set to come out somewhere around the year 2010. I'm looking forward to see it. :)

I think that all the actors, especially the teenagers, ust grew out of their parts. It makes me sad that it was cancelled, though.
