...i never played shootout only few times on my friends ps1 around in like 99 and never played live 98. i got showdown 94, live 95/96/97, inside drive 200 for pc (traded it for nba 2k). then i got 2k2. some1 gave me 2k1 AFTER that, but of course i never played it. o n my cous has nba baller on ps2. so its BOTH triggers? ok ill play sometime n try. i did it several times with 1-2 old legends like dr j only. it was easy with him. 2 bad ally oop isnt as easy as 2k.
2k2 is easy on rookie mode. its impossible on all star mode. i never won a championship there. even when i simulate to the finals. u can post up shaq he will be double teamed, not get inside, and stolen. 3pt pct is like 1/6. ya, took me awhile to realize u gotta let go to block, but still the timing and angle has to be perfect. i get like 0-2 blocks on my own per game. seriously, look at 96 n 97. why the fuck in 97 they move so weird? thte crowd sounds weird. same ol run n gun gameplay tho

Nice dunks. It's funny how this game and 2k3 has way more dunks than NBA Live 2004 and 2005. The Create a Team mode is cool. You can use it to create the Oklahoma City Thunder and replace the Sonics in Franchise. Awesome feature!

One day when I was playing my nba live 04 video game I scored 286 points In all 4qs FINLA SPURS 286 cavs 199 and if any one has nba live 03 then you might want change the time in the game to 12 minutes
*sigh* I miss my Sega Dreamcast so! The overall gameplay for 2K2 was much better than 2K1. The shooting cursor was MUCH better. However, I thought the dunks in 2K1 were better. I also prefered setting up your own alley-oop by hitting left trigger and up on the D-pad in 2K1. Either way, they were both great games.

dude this game has better dunks than any other game. i hate the nba 2k8 Ps2 dunks the hole hoops shakes and they hang on the rim so crappy. this is so much better graphics

*sigh* I miss my Sega Dreamcast so! The overall gameplay for 2K2 was much better than 2K1. The shooting cursor was MUCH better. However, I thought the dunks in 2K1 were better. I also prefered setting up your own alley-oop by hitting left trigger and up on the D-pad in 2K1. Either way, they were both great games.

that was the first true nba game for 2k sports, i member getting this game for the first time and i was on it 24/7. after that they came out more shitty looking but now 2k/7 is the shit for the ps3

all the 2K basketball games kick ass, i loved 2k5 that was my favorite especailly for online for xbox, i could pretty much beat anyone, i beat the 2nd ranked player in the world by 30!!!! he quit lol so i could have probably increased my lead!!!!
