first off ive owned both snakes and lizards and intend never to go back to snakes i find it very hard to feed the snake and i will NEVER own a carnivorous animal from petco because i can get live mice cheaper than frozen. and they DO NOT eat live so you have to cause the cute little baby mouse harm so that it can get eaten and i feel horrible. and second where exactly can i go to find these things in florida. i am completely willing to catch these and tame them. i love basilisks i own a brown.
@MriBackup Since you're from Miami, that's probably how they got there in the first place. Floridians will get a reptile they think is either cute or cheap to care for, only to find out that it is actually VERY expensive to care for/will outgrow what they can offer, so they decide to 'set it free' in a place where it doesn't belong. Then they become an invasive species and destroy all the other species.
