thanks for your comments! We used spray paint, pylons, yardage markers, and some good geometry skills from my friends wife. The numbers were all done by eye, but the center logo was done using 2 poles and a string to get the perfect oval.
that is freakin sweet. it reminds me of when my friends and i made a baseball field in a backyard in jr high ... we painted the lines, had bases, measured his fence and put the little "190" sign to show the footage. it was sweet. i love stuff like this.
