She was already deep into her addiction when she met him, and even she has admitted such. It's easier to blame him because he was a public nuisance when they met. If you can find some of her earlier shows in her career you will be able to see that she was doing drugs in the early stages of her career. Remember all of the lip sweating and rapid talking during interviews?

@evanWith7, your comments are rather harsh. I'm sure no one MADE people pay $165 for a ticket. Anyone who knows anything about drug use knows that over time, it adversely affects the vocal cords. And in Whitney's case, it was all over the news...her recovery efforts and such. There is NO WAY I would've even thought about paying that kind of money for a concert ticket KNOWING how her voice has suffered. But to call her a crack whore is like, "Wow." Totally unnecessary.
