Just amazing. I wish there was more, more and much more. The expression on the faces of the soloists and choir gives away their incredible dedication to the meaning and interpretation of one of Bach's greatest works. Look at the expressions on the three boys' faces that perform short libretto parts... absolute dedication. Thank you, danielladrm13, for bringing this outstanding piece to us.

One of the most cataclysmic instances in all of Western music, such tremendous choruses depicting the scourging of Christ. How anyone can listen to BWV 244 and remain an agnostic or atheist is beyond me.

as far as I know there is no DVD available from this particular performance. The only DVD from the Thomanerchor currently on sale seems to be the following "Johann Sebastian Bach - H-Moll-Messe". Look for it at Amazon in the DVD section
