@tangnatalaga Yea man, I love pulling a double drop. The only thing is, I may have to sit a day waiting on an RGN load though, but it pays better. If I had to choose, I would stay under a step deck all the time.
Sweeper going to Baltimore area??? We find it's more cost effective to ship 2 at a time -- oh yeah, that's right, you have to be selling more sweepers to do that!!
Hey baby! Isn't it about time you changed your background image to show off those sexy smokestacks I liked so much on your new Freightliner? Maybe you should write a song....."She Thinks My Smokestacks are Sexy!" *snicker*
cool, nice easy load, apart from wouldn't be cheaper just to drive the vehicle and a car to drop off point? ok so they got less mileage on the clock, but to run a truck at 10-15 mpg, or that vehicle at about 25-30 mpg. hmm sums don't add up. must be that the person you were delivering to likes paying for style rather than useage!!
i just subscribed , keep the awesome videos coming and show some loads being hauled so i can hear that beautiful truck of yours , and thx for the videos
I can't begin to say how proud I am of you! Any kind of career change is challenging and you've met that challenge head on with an enthusiastic can-do attitude that is admirable! It's a good career move for you and I think your independent spirit will enjoy the status of O/O, not to mention the freedom of choice, more than what you've had with other companies. *high five*
thats awesome , great looking truck , if you got some time in the cab i would think a video of a breif overview of how different regulations and rules compared to your old flat bed career work , technical specifications of your truck , what you like and dont like about your current rig , stuff like that i think would be awesome ideas for new videos
<3 it! I think this is just too cool for school! I'm glad you get to choose which loads you carry now! Glad this wasn't much different than the usual flatbed loads you're used to! You'll be moving on to bigger and better things...well bigger anyway.....in a week or two! :)
how come no chocks behind the wheels as some sort of extra safety?...not regular chocks ofcourse but looks like they would have some sort of trailer chock rig figured out...just askin...oh, i know, you could put a couple dead eagles under the back wheels...or better yet, one big ass dead red elephant
@BigRigAuburnTiger WHOA THERE BIG GUY!! No smokey dog under there lol. Just curious about something. Since the sweeper weighed 21k, and your truck is around 35k??? did you bother scaling it?
Well at least you didn't have to tarp it! lol. Will you keep the step deck for a while? How does that work? You know me, I'm always interested in the nuts and bolts of the job(grins)
@HoganMo Yea Mike, I think I will have this step deck for a couple weeks. but then, I may get out from under it tomorrow, you never know. It all depends on what type of freight I will be pulling....thanks Mike
we use those in Baltimore to clean streets but they never seem to stayy clean long.

those chains don't look big enough for that size of truck..
ShannonCole888 11 months ago
@ShannonCole888 Plenty big enough, they are 3/8 chains. 5/16 wouldve held it just fine as well. It was only 21.000 lbs
BigRigAuburnTiger 11 months ago
great maybe next time you get your first Double Drop Trailer load. Then maybe later gets to haul a million pound machinery with an HLS tralier.
