i still have alltel, you dont have to switch i want to but we had a freakin 2 year contract with alltel from thanksgiving when i got a delve that broke. but we still have alltel, and the store we got the phone from is still an alltel store.
i think they should of merged the mobile to mobile calling only, a lot of people can now talk for free to all verizon alltel people now. but i hate verizons prices. there expensive. ill have to try activating a chocolate on my alltel prepaid plan :)
ummm question, when the merge isfinally complete will verizon add any of the alltel phones into their lineup? im in an area of which verizon is not taking over alltel, just a new company is probable to move in but im still switching to verizon when my contract is up in december and i really like the lg tritan but im not sure if it will be available through verizon
And Alltel was rated second in all of that, idk, I don't like the merger, I was happy with Alltel, they are by far the best provider in my area ( I am in Little Rock, Arkansas), same as their HQ, but anyway, they are cheaper than Verizon too, its just a bad deal, a monopoly, Verizon did not need to buy Alltel, if they were smart they would have bought Sprint, they would have gotten more customers from them
You should feel special, Verizon has the best service in the United States. All you stated was the economy, the pro's rule out the con's, if you don't believe me, look up consumer reports. Verizon scored best in customer service, call quality, dropped calls, etc.

I have Verizon. I am happy with it because it seems to work very well and the phones are user friendly
