Nice nice bicycle, this is one of the cleaner ones that I have seen.

I have one question, why did you keep the front sprockets, the drive sprocket on the motor side is of similar size to the ones opposite. It seems to me that you could eliminate a chain and all of the sprockets up front. there would only be 5 speeds, but how many does a e bike need. Whichever way, I love the looks.

Say you take a 10speed mountain bike, mount an electric motor and run a chain to one of the rear sprockets... then mount a car alternator, run another chain to another rear sprocket... then mount a battery, wire up your wiring and switches and what have ya. Alternator continuously recharges the battery. Please note, I've never built an electric bicycle before... Think my idea would work?

my e bike from china suck wont last more then 34days on a a single charge when using peddle assist now right after the green light go off have only so long to right with the yellow lights on

Hi Palm olive soap. It cost me arount £300 for all the parts.. maybe more- but it was a project i worked on for a while, so lost track of costs. Im currently building a EChopper/low rider- it wont be ready for a while but i shall be sure to upload a vid once its done. My daughter does indeed have an evil laugh. haha.

Hey rainstormaeroponics... got a new 3 amp fast charger so the lead acids are fading fast! Im saving up to get a 1000 watt 48 volt hub motor.. might go for the 24 inch wheel... where did you get your crayfish pot from? because we live next to a river too...

yer a 24 or a 20in wheel i have a 26 and its too big shame they dont do a 22

i got the pot from the environment agency because crayfish are a pest u should be able to get one for free mine were give them a ring

yer lead acids dont really work for long

a ping battery is very good u just gotto make a box for it :) as there lots of money and u dont want to break it :)
