@bapan1977 Obviously, that's a confounded world view. We know large part of the why is because of vote banks of Gani Khan Chowdhury or the left front - the second reason is also for the same reason why Indians have migrated to US or elswhere - purely that's a socio economic reason.
As for the rest - whether you want to do something to a country because of their religious affiliation....you are the best judge :)
Bangla joto gaan shunechi jibone, taar modh'dhey, this is unquestionably one of my most favorite songs. Emon gaan keu aar banay na keno aaj. Shei kobe shunechi.... can't believe it still carries the same emotional impact on me. This song will never get old for me. A classic gem for sure.
suru theke sesh prante choote jetei to anando- jiban bhor amra sabai to choote choli kono ek asha niye.. this song represents the eternal bengali romanticism which is imbibed in every bengali's heart- across all age groups, locations and social backgrounds .. in that sense it is a classic song that never gets old...no matter how many times one listens it..
guys is there any1 who goes to the bloodbank and asks for a bottle of bengali blood or bihari blood or indian or american blood??music is like blood of our soul so please forget these petty freaking things inside and njoy the song
@deshmeradesh1 i truely support you, because if anybody cant be proud of being bengali, then s/he has no right to called bengali. but one question, if you dont want to be called as an indian(coz of beharis n others), then why is ur name "deshmeradesh1" instead of "deshamardesh1"???
Retards should keep their ever-so-present stupidity over religious matters away from music, which is one of the very few things that is still more or less not insulted by these idiots!
Its appalling and scary to see how mentally deranged a certain generation has become, that they dont leave any opportunity to squabble over language, religion et al...so much so that the miss the best of this world!
Sudhin-babu adapted Harry Belafonte's immortal number 'Island in the Sun' to create another great piece. Magical!

Thousands of Hindu people killed by Muslim in Bangladesh. And that's the reason most of the Hindu population fled out from that country in 1971.
Minorities ( Hindu) in Bangladesh need to pay Tax to stay in their ancestral home.
I have no grievance against Indian Muslims because they are no where related with this.
It really matters Bangladesh or Paschim Banga, West Bengal is a part of India a secular nation where as Bangladesh a Muslim Country.

Guys... please do not generalize....
@deshmeradesh1: WE ARE INDIANS FIRST AND THEN BENGALIS. THERE ARE BAD EXAMPLES EVERYWHERE. I AGREE WITH JAYGCIN'S COMMENT.
@Others: The views of deshmeradesh are his own and should not be generalized to slap Bengalis... PLEASE EXERCISE YOUR JUDGMENT!! :-))

Absolutely magical performance by the maestro; what a romantic melody created by Sudhin Dasgupta( I think); simply fantastic. Thanks for uploading.
