  • you are making a terrible mistake, mate!!! I understand that you draw the arrow lines on the y-axis to show that they have the magnitude of 2. However, if you draw a line on the y-axis, then there is a function on the y-axis. let's say you draw a line on y-axis of 2, then f(x)=2.
