I have never been a fan of Ash Rai but I feel she has done a good job in this movie with her acting. Maybe she could work on her voice modulation. And she looks so pretty in this movie, she could give some of the 25 something actresses in Bollywood a run for their money. I wish Abhishek had done a slightly better job here. But in comparison to all her past performances I think Ash has done a really good job here. I would not agree to most of the other comments posted here.

Just fyi for everyone complaining about her acting she had to act like this to play the part. They wanted her to play the scared helpless female not like she wanted to but it is her role. In any movie you don't act how you want to but how the director and the script wants you to.

The chemistry between these two is non-existent. I mean considering they're married in real life, you would think there would at least be a little, but NOPE! That's what really screwed up the movie for me, other than that excellent directing, story, etc. SAD! =(

very very good film, I liked it whatever people might say, sure this is not a funny film with romance & happy ending but cinema is not only happy ending movies. AB is quite incredible in his madness acting part .Going from such different roles such as Sam in Dostana to this one shows that he is truly a great actor.

GOD help me if she doesn't stop that. and my eyes almost hurt from the crap acting and pathetic dialogues...but my best friend is obsessed with this movie and i promised her i would see it so here goes nothing. 20 mins down, only another hour or two to go...joy.

I don't disrespect any State language of India. I am rather proud of having a variety of languages in India which other countries are deprived of. Infact I lived in south India for quite a long time and I enjoyed living there.But I hate the biased attitude of south Indians toward other movies and actors.They think bollywood actors are just a crap.They should learn to act from South Indian actors. Abhishek sucks big time. Watch the tamil version with vikram you will know what we are talking about. Vikram (who plays the police in this version) plays Beera in the Tamil one and he is flawless even when he is being a psycho during this exact scene.

@factsays I finally watched the Tamil version and let me just say that Vikram is astounding. He is 20x better than Abhishek. this goes to show that even if when you have star power, if you do not know how to emote, no one will care. Vikram might not have the star power like Abhishek but his acting is brilliant and he has proven to be a brilliant actor by winning several prestigious awards like national award and so forth.

No he is not. And the only film which I think that Ab excelled was Guru and Yuva. In this version of Raavan, rather than being a villain he is like a psycho and it does not suit him and I have seen some scenes from the tamil version and yes Vikram is really good in the same scenes. much much better than AB. Also to answer ur question Sita did not take a bullet but tried to save raavan but raavan pushed her away to take the bullet.
