It is the only sketch show currently that stays fresh and funny with just as many random one off sketches as re-occurring character situations. These 2 really are a breath of fresh air compared to the mediocrity of Catherine Tate and Little Britain sketches.

what I mean is, this looks like it's going to be like Little britain (same characters, same idea - tweaked/slightly re-written each week e.g. Andy and Lou?) in that it has no subtlety - every week we will see Webb try and fail to do innuendo in a Carry On hospital sketch...seen one seen them all

in fairness, you cant judge it (and neither can i just go on about how good it is) until youve seen a few episodes of the new series.

M&W have said that they do not intend to do many repeated sketches in order to keep the show fresh. This includes the snooker commentators and Big Talk. Numberwang has become the conspiracy thriller, the Numberwang Code. I'm looking forward to Thursday.
