  • Well said man...when I vlog it's all about de-stressing and talking about whatever is on my mind. Thanks for the motivation by the way.

  • Okay I admit im a YouTube troll of sorts. I just stumbled across motorcycle vids, blogging, what ever you call it. I started with 13M which is weird cause apparently is the grand daddy of it all. But I see nothing new or exciting. What I observe are copies and clones of 13M. Nothing new, no original concepts. Just ripping off the Mack daddy 13M.

  • @rebelyell91 dude if u made a vlog t-shirt i would buy one from u! or if u put a sick emblem representing ur channel i would buy it! just saying

  • Loved the camera angle, it feels like we r riding that road too. On the biker not waving, He probably didnt see u while in that turn. Plus he needed both hands at that point and angle. Thnx so much Rebel.

    John, Canada.

  • lol right when u said tacobell the commercial came on hahaha

  • i just like having fun too, not really vloging , but also enjoy plp apreciating videos

  • @roninsoul yeah exactly, it's all about having fun (:

  • you drive like my grandmom

  • get a T-shirt that says I (HEART) RICE,,,,, and yea i just started watching ur vids so im a lil behind lol

  • no prob at all.

and yes the Tshirt ideas are awesome.

  • Put me down for a large ;)

  • LMAO, Taco bell is amazing, i must say, lol. Love all the vids great entertainment and i have learned some from you, i also have a ninja 250, the 09 candy electric blue!! LOVE IT!!

  • Taco bell is pretty amazing. thanks for the praise sir. Glad I can help ya out. (:

woo i like the candly blue.

  • I think you got a few things backwards man, no disrespect, but:

Most of us don't care too much about the numbers. SHC was saying that some people do, but most of the vloggers I know of are pretty happy with whatever they've got.

Vlogging also didn't start on LV, it just picked up steam and a lot of the community came together there. Then it broke when LV broke and while most of us came to YT, not all of us did.

  • Good clarification.

  • RY - I agree with T's comment & if u notice it does acknoledge what I said in my earlier comments :-)

I've also taken note of the fact that there are some YTers who are under the mistaken impression that the motovlogging community that is in the process of being rebuilt can be characterized as a "YT vlogger M13 hater crew" & a "childish hater mob mentality bandwagon" :-o

Let me be clear - I do not hate M13 & I don't encourage that type of thing in any way whatsoever! ...

  • M13 has been around as a motovlogger longer than any other so I know that he's seen many controversies erupt on YT (some that even he himself will admit to benefitted from directly, I might add). This is NOT one of those controversies. I can't speak for everyone but I believe that hateful behavior on YT really is uncalled for & should not be engaged in by those who have such tendencies. Motovloggers are simply self organizing in a manner that benefits them greatly. ...

  • There's no "hating" going on... people are too busy getting to know each other better, cooperating in ways that they may not have b4 & just generally having fun! To mischaracterize them as "M13 haters" is to miss the whole point entirely :-o :-)

Now if folks know any motorcylists personally, they'll know that we are quite an intelligent & opinionated bunch. Yes, we do have a tendency to 'tease' each other from time to time but this is nothing more than friendly 'ribbing' among colleagues...

  • I feel that M13 is old enough & has been around long enough to understand that this is more likely what he's experiencing. As opposed to anything more serious than that. Personally I'm just having fun on YT & enjoying EVERYONE'S vids. I think everyone else is too. Life's too short to waste time on foolishness like 'internet tomfoolery' :-D

I'll end now, this is going on a bit too long again :-o

My appologies once again for the long comment, sometimes I just can't seem to help myself...

  • boob, great info and input there.

You should be the communities Analyst. :P

and Motivational speaker so everyone is on track :P

  • I simply want to clear up the misunderstanding that I'm observing.

Those who have eyes to see, will see. But those who wish to remain clueless & uninformed... well there isn't anything I can do to change that. In time I hope that people will understand my POV ;-)

My appologies once again for the long comments, sometimes I just can't seem to help myself... I think I'll have to seek help for this condition *hahaha* :-D

  • how quick does that thing accelerate to about, 60. and what gear is 60 at.

  • 0-60 is pretty quick, not sure on exact seconds.

60mph will most likely be in 6th gear

  • Numbers don't matter, here's what does:

It takes a pretty decent sports car to outrun even a lowly ex250. They're pretty damn fast as far as the world of land-based transportation goes. :)

  • 7.7 seconds, however I think this is actual speed, the 250 has a screwed up speedometer, its shows like 10% faster than your actual / gps verified speed.

  • man is there no grass there at all? it must suck just having dirt and sand, looks diffrent than KY

  • It is a desert.

  • yea......i guess thats true.

  • Yeah me and 2 of my friends are all about to take the Safety course, and get our Licenses. either The first of Aug, or the 8th. Not sure yet. But then we are going t down to buy us some 250s. :D Your Vids reaalllyy set me on the Ninja 250 as a first bike. Such an insperation. Again, Many Thanks Rebel, maybe I too can vlogg one day :D

  • Maybe you will man keep me updated with your stuff.

If you have any other questions about the bike just let me know. :D

  • Things is I dont want to die. Lol. So slow is pretty good for me. Have you gotten bored of it at all? And how long have you had it? And i have seen both of those videos, Both of which were also bad ass. :D

    Also. rice is AWESOME

  • I have not gotten bored of the 250. :D

I've had it for about a year now.

    and thank you GO RICE!

  • Hey Rebelyell, how's it going?

    Your videos are awesome!!

I went and looked at the 2008 Ninja 250r in a showroom today. I've totally gotta have it.

As soon as I have enough money, it's mine!! :D

I might come over there and see if i bump into you sometime lol :P

  • Hey extreme thanks!. :D

lol and sounds good man, good luck getting the bike and keep me updated.(:

  • you need a sticker/tshirt that says "my hands are waving because im vlogging" lol. by the way love the vids.

  • Lmao Excellent one man!!! thanks :D

  • Rebel your the reason im getting a 2009 Ninja 250. :D Love the vids man, has given me a ton of Awesome info. People keep telling me that i will grow out of the 250 and what not cause it doesnt have enough power....I need reassuring! Im a fairly small guy, and I have NO experience. Suggestions? Thanks a lot! Keep up the vids.

  • :D Thank you sir! If you REALLY like speed then dont' get the 250.

the 250 will be enough for a normal person. (I hear it's 0-60 compares to a 350z (doubt it))

But it's your call, check out my 105 mph or my "how I shift" videos.

  • good video rebelyell man. I still am asking around to see if anyone I know makes stickers but as of now have come up with nothing. Motovlog seems to have a lot of ideas too.

Also, my next video which I'll be filming shortly (don't know if you heard I haven't been able to ride for over a month) is gonna involve food but not rice but CORN!

  • i used to be able to make stickers but i sold my sicker maker machine thing i had.. now i wish i had it

  • no rice?

    I'm not watching it.

lmao jk man, let me know

  • Evolution or.... REVOLUTION!!! I'm forming the Suzukibots faction and we're going to find the subscribespark and destroy all Harley life on this planet.

  • Should I take that as a invite? ;)

(booking ticket to AZ as I type)

I agree with your reasoning.. I believe most vloggers arent out for fame and fortune, I think most use vlogging as a way to express them selves and share their experiences with others.. also.. just sharing whats going on in their life.. because as most animals.. we are all curious about what others do :))

    Keep it up man!

    5*

  • Again, good comment, I agree completely. :D

you are the man (or dan is).

  • taco bell food of the gods!!!! ya right !!!!!!

  • its good but it has consequences.. after you eat it.. when crap time comes ull have the shit of the gods lol

  • If I remember right, that McDonalds at 4:17 on the right is by Luke AFB, then that McDonalds is total SHIT. lol

  • Lol, the McDonalds is alright :P

    but yes, by Luke

  • lol I hate that one. I got sicker than a dog off that one for like 2 weeks. no joke. lol

  • oh wow, I'll make sure to keep clear :P

  • now that i see the below info, do you live near glendale? where are you in relation to fountain hills?

  • I live right near Luke AFB

  • There's also a "Recent Topics" section at the top of the index page, I know it's not ideal :(

  • Hey, you made me wanna start vlogging, but as I said in another comment I was too afraid of what other people would think of me...

But i'll try to start vlogging again, the only sad thing is that it won't be a motorcycle Vlogging, so I won't be a part of this group... =(

    KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP

    Ride safe, lots of rice...

  • So you've also inspired me to start vlogging myself. I just uploaded my first video. I'd love it if you watched and gave me some pointers and suggestions! Keep up the great vids!

  • Thanks Cambot, I'll take a look at them.

  • thank you so much. i'll probably make another video tomorrow

  • Yes they do!!!!

and yeah, good call with the "filming you" part.

  • Hey. Can I just ask how do you get that "rebelyell91" thing in the bottom corner? Do you just add text as normal? I use Vegas Pro 8 which I think you do too

  • It's in editing.

    I used Protype titler.

  • I agree, i think m-vlogging it's about just sharing your thoughts and fun days, not focusing on sub's. YT is just a good way to share and meet...Good Vid.

  • exactly, good comment man. :D

  • I like the motovlog web site, but that php software really sucks.

They need to implement an RSS feed of new posts! Please!!! And add a new posts button!

I don't know of any other way to follow a forum. Once you start using RSS to follow your forums it is down right painful to have to remember the url, go to the main page, and then try and figure what's been going on since your last visit.

I've suggested this in the comments, and I sure hope the site owner can implement this feature soon.

  • Correction, there is a 'new posts' link on the main page, it was just pretty small for my old eyes to see it. Now if they'll just associate an RSS feed with it we'll really be somebody!

  • They're working on it Jim, the forum is only 2 weeks old really tho. Pedaway also has other commitments at the moment that prevent him from devoting as much time to it as he would like. I'd would also like to point out that his efforts along with the efforts of others to make this thing work for the benefit of all is to be commended & supported IMHO.

You are more than welcome to make suggestions for improvements to the site, it's for the community, of which u have long been a member ;-)

  • Hey Jim, don't worry I haven't forgot about your request, it's on the top of my list as soon as I've got my motorbike license out of the way, I promise!

Also when I have more free time I'm going to restyle the site and get some motovlog graphics up there :)

    All the best.

  • & btw jim, it would be good to have older more experienced riders represented on the forum to maintain a good balance. Some of the younger folks just don't have the experience of older riders. That experience will prove invaluable if it's made available to younger riders :-)

  • Lol, Have you had that happen or what? Thanks my man Cipster!

  • remember to turn off your blinkers!... it saves bulb life.. slightly :P

  • slightly. :P

    were they on? silly me.

  • haha nice the local taco bell closed down here. I'm going to start vlogging soon rebelyell!!!

  • wooooooooo keep me updated.

  • yea man i will!! I'm still trying to find a bike, and get the money for it. I'm lookin at 3-4 bikes right now, and trying to figure out what camera set up I should use.

  • you left your blinker on for a loooong time 0_0

  • I just finished watching the rest of your video.

You need a spot to have a "SIT DOWN"

    See who gets whacked!

    HAHAHAHHA

Cant we all just get along!???

  • "You caught me....I don't know." LMAO!

    REBELYELL!

  • Lmao :DDDD

  • dude check ur dash nxt time u vlog it was like old people driving lol it was a biker that was beside me when i was in a car and he was eating burger king...i started laughing because i thought about a bug flying in his mouth

  • I definately agree. Do what makes you happy. BTW i just picked up my red ninja 250 yesterday and loving it. I was just wondering how you have your mirrors set up because i can't figure out whats the proper position for them.

  • If you look in my videos, it's just the default position. :D

lovin the 250? good to hear :D Congratulations!

  • thanks for the vid rebel i hope to join you guys soon

  • thank you I will def look forward to you joining :D

  • Great video man. Informative!

  • Thanks Apple! good to cya again :D

  • I appreciate how you guys are taking leadership in the evolution and spreading of Vlogging. It invites more of us to Vlogg and others to watch.

Im all for a community of Vloggers that becomes something like a brotherhood. Im also loving the decal idea haha.

    :D

    Nice video

  • the decal idea is very awesome.

    and the t-shirts!

and I don't necessarily want to take leadership. just......throwing it out there :D

Thanks for your comment again Aztectemplar

  • I agree, it's not about the subscriber count, its about being involved in the ,moto vlogging community.

Shotty a i love KTM smurf shirt haha.

  • Fully agreed. :D

  • you left your blinker on jk no offence hey where did you get your watch at?

  • walmart :P

  • the most important thing is making good videos and enjoying what you do, great video btw 5*. motovlog is great, albeit in it's infancy, be interesting to see where it goes and how busy it becomes :) i really need to try one of those taco bells :D and i'd definately buy a 'i ktmsmurf rocks' t-shirt :)

  • Hell yes Dan. a "KTMsmurf rocks" shirt would be awesome.

    on spot with your comment.

  • It would appear that the fanbois are voting on comments again... I hope I didn't hurt their "wittle feewings"... poor babies, aww come here, mommy will make it all better *hahaha* XD

** Rebel I shall never do this again, rest assured... this 1 just slipped out ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • Lmao, dont' start drama on my comments!!!! :P jk man. you are cool.

  • made me lol...:)

  • Good comments. One of the best things for me is the friends I have made through m/c vlogging. There certainly is a "brotherhood" of vloggers.

It must be great for you guys in the US (the majority of vlogger live) as you have the chance to meet in person.

Keep it up, man, wel done.

  • Thanks Brother.

vlogging in the UK may be a bit better since it's a semi-small country so it's easier to meetup :P

and good call with the "brotherhood"

  • I'm a little concerned that this vlogging thing is becoming a little incestuous and is in danger disappearing up its own ass ... I love to watch people talking about their lives, bikes, hopes and fears etc. The old LV guys are great exponents of this, no talk of communities and the like, just guys doing their own thing and providing a brief insight into their world. As well as being a character, Mordeth has obviously lived a little and I think his blogs reflect this.

  • Your opinions are interesting... because after all fanbois have them too *heheheh* ;-)

  • No talk of communities? LV had one of the most tight-nit communities of vloggers I've ever seen...

  • LOL Meetup t-shirts too? Just like the "mainstreamers."

  • Sure! :D

  • Awesome I love the Yellow 250s!

  • I agree completely. It's not the size of your subscribership ( ;-D ), it's just the fact that you are riding, and sharing the ride for those who understand.

    Peace, and ride safe!!

  • Gooddd call Maikeli.

  • Everyone forgets 88hawaii or Spencerian, that guy use to post videos daily for a long time. He also set-up multiple camera's vlogs. Its such ashame that all his videos were deleted from youtube

  • good call, I feel bad for forgetting him.

    You can't forget him!

  • You can rest assured Rob, he is not forgotten ;-)

"All hail the great 88Hawaii -- Mahalo!"

  • im thinking about getting an 09 250 should i get in red or blue??? i cant make up my mind

  • BLACK FOR LIFE and white wheel stripes!

  • hmm lets start a vlogging war! lol... how would that work?

Anywho, I love the part where you are being all serious and talking about the subject, when randomly out of left field, "Im gonna show you Taco Bell soon."

    ahahaha! xD

  • :D lmao thanks Iroquois.

Vlogging war would be awesome for the viewers I'd think :P

  • I've went to Motovlog and put a few pic of some logos the Vlogers might like.

  • unfortunately sub status affects all vloggers...all you can do is just keep being you!

  • exactly!

  • i'M FiLMiNG YOU :D

  • still havent really dipped my toe into that page yet but i'll be a more active member soon=) i hope

  • Sall good. I'm normally not into forums but this one is high quality.

  • FOOD OF THE GODS!

  • This is just my opinion, so I don't expect others to agree with my views & that's fine of course. I also realize that my time horizon in the motovlogging scene is longer than most, so many of the references I make in my comments are lost on folks whose initial exposure to motovlogging is more recent than my own.

Motovlogging hasn't really evolved, I think it's just returning to it's roots - that is to say the community of friends/hobbyists/enthusiasts is being rebuilt on YT...

  • Motovlogging began on YT, then migrated to LV (long silly story) then once again returned to YT. The circumstances surrounding each migration was different however in each case the community suffered a little as people had to rediscover each other on the new video host - not always easy if some folks decide to change their usernames.

What u are seeing at the moment is the re-building of the motovlogging community in it's entirety...

  • I believe the community is becoming more aware of itself. I think folks are realizing that the motovlog scene is much larger than they may have previously thought. Thus people are beginning to interact more (hopefully) & even cooperate voluntarily with each other where they see a need. Hopefully this interaction & cooperation will continue to be fostered + nurtured within the small motovlogging community.

There is no 'war' at all. People just have more choice now than b4...

  • ohhh man... I just lost the last part :-(

let me retype... (this comment system is so buggy, geez!)

  • It's not an either or situation, but rather, it's more for everyone if they so choose. There are a growing number of motovloggers out there, just look at my subscriptions for some indication on that :-o :-)

There really is only 1 community of motovloggers & everyone is included in it. Fortunately now more resources are available to the community. Hopefully everyone uses ALL the resources & has a more enjoyable time because of them.

No need to get lost in a numbers game, just have fun!

  • boobtubeviewr On spot, thank you for the informative history lesson (I'm new in comparison to the life of Motovlogging) so good to hear from you.

thanks for the input and your last part is high quality: "No need to get lost in a numbers game, just have fun!"

  • You may be newer than some others, but that doesn't mean much to anyone. You're vids are entertaining to watch & ur a nice guy -- that's what matters!

Keep it up! -- & I mean that in more ways than 1 ;-)

  • LOL, boobtube your comments are getting longer then the vids, keep it up man. Due too me being an idiot 10 mins watching vid, 30 mins reading your comments, 60 mins typing this. Lol

  • Sorry :-(

    I don't mean to, honestly I don't. It's a good thing I don't comment too much then :-)

I prefer silence myself, stealth operations are a hobby of mine ;-) *shhhh.........*

  • Lmao, thanks man, the feedback is appreciated. :D

  • good content = more subscribers

    m13>all

    this video is kinda gay

but i still like you rebel ;p

  • lmao, thanks?

  • taco bell FTW.

  • TACO BELL!

  • agreed.

  • oh and i forgot to metion i am one of those teens who u have helped discover the coolness and greatness of owning ,riding, and maintenance of a sportbike . thanks a bunch rebelyell91 keep it up

  • Thanks Nick. :D good to hear it's working out

  • is ther a lot of earthquakes where u live cause the roads there are filled with cracks and um idk if u have already heard of them but Google buell motorcycles. its a really unique sounding sportbike company unfortunately its owned by harley davidson now (I REALLY DISLIKE HARLEYS) but its okay there nothing like a harley wow there cool to me . u might also want to searth buell xb12 exhaust

  • 0 earthquakes. Roads just get used and the heat also affects it.

  • What would cause this "War" that you are talking about? Think I am missing something somewhere.

  • talking about hostilities between vloggers in general. (if any)

  • hey rebelyell, i just wanted to let you know that i'm one of those guys you've helped out. i'm just getting into motorcycles and i found your channel and you've convinced me that the ninja 250 is the bike for me. also all your how to videos are gonna be super helpful when i get into doing maintenance on it. thank you so much!

  • cambot thank you for letting me know. I'm very glad I helped out. :D

  • Rebel do you plan on moving any time soon im coming down there.................. in two years

  • naw ill be here

  • Cool now im even more excited. Im going to take a tour of the ASU campus.

  • Was that the same TB we went to?

We shoulda videoed me eating rice and you at taco bell while i was there. I always think of things after its to late. ): A return trip to AZ maybe? Hmmm.....

  • Yep.

lol and yes return trip back we will DEF do that :D

  • what bike you ride dude?

  • Ninja 250

  • all these amateurs not knowing what bike u ride:P obviously not watched all ur videos like me ^^:P

  • Same here ;-)

  • And I bet soon enough your gonna have a vid of you getting stopped by the police.

And freak the cop out when he sees you talking to yourself.

  • Lmao, I hope not man, I doubt when I get pulled over I'll have a camera in my face. :D

  • Well if you get stopped with the camera in your face, The cop might not act like a dick. Once you tell him you recording. lol

  • lol right

  • "Food Of The Gods!!"

    Yes Indeed!! very good vid!

Your exactly right when you say there shouldnt be two sides to vlogging.

It better having everyone in the same community talking about the same thing in a positive way.

  • Exactly. I agree completely.

  • Watch out for cops!!! =)

  • Word to everyone's Mother. >:D

    lol but really, good vid.

  • Lol, thanks d00d. you are the style.
