Love how quiet this weapon is suppressed! My dream weapon. Love how smart it is designed. Still legal in Canada, albeit with the longer barrel and smaller magazine. Cannot wait to be able to get one for myself!
how many potential civilian hostiles are gonna be wearing body armor when/if they engage you right now? my guess is not many. the ps90 will kill soft targets pretty quick.............
what does he mean civillians cant have the armour peircing rounds, ive owned armour peircing 5.56 and 7.62 projectiles, toungston carbite core, steel lined copper jacket, i bought them leagally, that was a first.
Why do people question the stopping power of fire arms, at all.
You don't need an anti-material rifle to kill somebody. Try learning to aim instead of spraying bullets everywhere. And besides, if you're being shot at, you're screwed anyways.
This is my most favourite gun ever it is so tiny yet capable of doing plenty of damage if only the sold p90 bb guns in Australia, that's all I would want unless I went to war which is a possibilty.
It serves no purpose, IMHO, unless you can have the SS190 round. The purpose of the system is to be an SMG sized weapon that can penetrate soft body armour. If you're shooting ammo that is incapable of that then you might as well be shooting something that will make bigger holes against non-protected threats. If you want to own it just cause then by all means do so.
I got an airsoft version of this gun. I'm curious though, is the mag really plastic too? Because it looked kinda plastic. Or polymer, something like that.
@Recon911PDW I can also give witness to the stopping power of this fire arm. Even the most empowered meth-head can not ignore what this gun says. It just wins!
@YoungMadas09 have you actually been in a fire fight before? on what basis do you recommend using p90 in a combat situation? 200m max effective range and reduced penetration power compared to .223 rounds. might as well fight with one hand tied to your balls
@asus3571 No, he did not use a .45 or a Sony handheld video game system. Nor did he use a P90 nor a PS90. He used an FN Five Seven pistol that uses the same round as the P90.
Any info out there on the stopping power of the 5.7mm? I'd like to know how it compares to the .45 and 9mm, especially in terms of first-round kill ability.
Let's see, the 5.7 round tends to tumble like the 45 so small to big entry and exit, the only problem is that the 5.7 seven round comes in fmj, or armor piercing and hollow point. civilians cannot shoot the fmj round but in terms of first shot kill if u hit a vital organ it will esentially blend the insides, also the round is very good because the secret service uses the p90, please correct me if i am wrong

Too bad the video image quality is poor, because the vid itself is very informative and the FN rep knows his stuff.

This seems to be a weapon that really shines in full automatic mode. Is the PS90 semi-auto worthwhile? Seems like it might be a little underpowered.
Spectre426 1 year ago
@Spectre426
Underpowered? The only limitation is how fast you can squeeze the trigger. Sure auto is easier but for a civilian rifle it's amazing.

@96Luck I have a PS90 and my 2 30 round mags are a tough plasic composite and that rail system is real handy. I use a red dote. Personal preference.

Why do people question the stopping power of the P90? If you get sprayed by a P90, your going to be dead and become human swiss cheese.

P90 would most likely be my weapon of choice if I ever had to go into combat, unless the situation called for something specific.

As far as stopping power goes, the terrorist shooting at Ft. Hood answered that question.
