Not if the job market doesn't rebound they wont. It continues to grow, and so many are forced to be either underemployed or unemployed. The real number is more like 17% under/unemployed in this country. Adding more taxes, or burdens to families will not result well in the end for so many.

I went to San Fran last year and saw a lot of white americans begging on the street, it was very sad to see how many of homeless you see in this city. I've been to many cities in the world but what I saw in SF was the worst I've ever seen.
Well one reason is that SF has one of the most temperate climates in the entire US. There are actually way more homeless people in New York(statically) then SF(WAY MORE), but a lot of the homeless in NYC live literally underground in the subway tunnels. Mainly because it is super cold in the winter. But regardless I guess the only way to get rid of them in SF is to put them on a bus to another city??? That wont really solve the problem, it will just get the homeless out of SF.

The SF Food Bank is a great institution. I have volunteered at them several years ago, and was very impressed with their program. While SF is the greatest city on earth unfortunately there are still many poor and homeless people.

Not if the job market doesn't rebound they wont. It continues to grow, and so many are forced to be either underemployed or unemployed. The real number is more like 17% under/unemployed in this country. Adding more taxes, or burdens to families will not result well in the end for so many.
It's sad but true, at one time you could work 2 jobs to make ends meet. Now if you're lucky, you have one job and maybe a spouse helping out. The jobs just aren't there. Thanks

Why do you think we held the technological edge over other nations in the world? I went to San Fran last year and saw a lot of white americans begging on the street, it was very sad to see how many of homeless you see in this city. I've been to many cities in the world but what I saw in SF was the worst I've ever seen.

Well one reason is that SF has one of the most temperate climates in the entire US. There are actually way more homeless people in New York(statically) then SF(WAY MORE), but a lot of the homeless in NYC live literally underground in the subway tunnels. Mainly because it is super cold in the winter. But regardless I guess the only way to get rid of them in SF is to put them on a bus to another city??? That wont really solve the problem, it will just get the homeless out of SF.

i'm not completely certain but i think it goes something like this...labour value=1$ to pick an orange, therefore its exchange value is also 1$...however when u can get comodities to do the labour in half the time you get 2 oranges for the exchange of 1$....so im guessing in this case its 9 oranges for the price of 1$, once agian im not completely sure, just learned this...correct me if i'm wrong

The SF Food Bank is a great institution. I have volunteered at them several years ago, and was very impressed with their program. While SF is the greatest city on earth unfortunately there are still many poor and homeless people.
