The only time you need to keep your hand on the goalie is when the puck is in your own zone or if the opponent's defense is taking a shot on your goal.

the trick to winning this game is to always keep one hand on the goalie for as much as the time as possible!

After just playing this game for the first time, I can say that Rick Benej has built, by far, the best table hockey game available. The materials, design, and over all look and feel of the game is awesome. Like a high quality billiard table, this would offer a family a lifetime of entertainment.

how do you movie side to side is what i meant, you probably push foward to make it go in those slots, but im confused as to how you move side to side.

Hi,

The goalie moves side to side by merely sliding the goalie rod back and forth left to right or right to left. Very easy to do.
