I love this, Keith Green is wonderful! What is the first song on this video? The second song is Easter Song, and the last is from the Prodigal Son suite, but I don't know the first song, and would LOVE to be able to get it...is anyone able to help me please? Thank you so much. :)
Keith was such an incredible man of God. There is no other love like the love of Jesus Christ. This is so moving. Two great men I can not wait to meet. I'm so glad that Keith is my Dads favourite artist. I am so blessed to be brought up with his music.
I think many are missing the point, this song is about a real person talking about his son
and how he will go though hard ships for his faith.
Like the hardships that the Chinese go through or the Sudanese. All around the world Christians are persecuted. I remember a professing "Christian" telling me "nothing bad will happen to me as long as I Am with Jesus",
I told her a servant is not above his master and mine was nailed to a tree.
oceanconservator. I think the movie showed the reality of what actually took place. We should never forget that He died a horrible death because He love us. When you see the whole movie, it isn't one violent clip after another, it was done in a very progressive way. Let's remember, the actor never suffered real pain, but Jesus did.
i think the passion movie was just too violent. When you read the four gospels, there is not an emphasis on the violence of jesus death. It explains what happened to Jesus to the point, then moves on. This movie seemed to be to be violent to the point of being masochistic.
But if u would study and learn about just how the crucifictions were done back then you would be able to put two and two together. Except with this particular one they went a little further with the crown of thorns dug in his head.. Study..
@oceanconservator ..no. this mvie was for the point of showing the stark hideous REALITY of what Christ went through.. the reseach done to accurately portray just how brutal and masochist t roman mindset was at this time, was intensive and thorough...we could make a daisy books colring book version for those who want to think it was not so bad...and to the point.
An outstanding matching of film with music, with such an important message - that God sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins on the cross and that He was raised again from the dead - this is God's message of salvation to mankind: that Christ died there in my place, so that I would not have to be lost for eternity.
I was just starting to listen to his music when he left us. His music is still very much alive today as we can see by this video....thanks for posting it!!!! God Bless You!!!!

And think Keith Green was largely reject by the Church. He gave his songs away free. I love this man.

I love the way you took Keith's song and Mel Gibson's footage and put it together, it adds a deeper message to both of them!
God bless you and your talent.

The song here is " Song for Josiah" one of 3 children and the only son he had who died with him in the plane crash in the 80s

What a beautiful video! Thanks for putting this together....
Josiah was actually one of Keith's 4 children as Melody was pregnant at the time of the crash....
