Thinks millions of Americans. Don't will to power brother, will to greatness... I too think I will one day be in a position of great affluence, but I don't dwell on the power aspect but allow the pursuit of my passions take precedent.
Man is limitless in his capacity, infinite in his power, un-matched in his intelligence... live.
The Bush family and the Bin Laden family were big chums in the 70's and 80's too, so what are we to think about a sitting president who was friends with the most notorious terrorist in the world right now? Association is a dangerous rug to start beating the dust out of. The one thing that I still can't figure out, and please enlighten me, is why when 17 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, how do we end up fighting in Iraq?
I can't vote McCain. I simply hate SOCIALISM too much to vote for that commie.
McCain wants to spread the wealth around! On top of what they're ALREADY getting from Bush, McCain wants to give corporate CEOs an ADDITIONAL $700,000 EACH. Just a random gift from the federal government, which you and I have to pay for.
I just HATE socialism. There is no way I am working my ass off to give $700,000 to my socialist masters! I WANT MY TAX CUT!
Down with socialism, down with McCain. Bob Barr 08!
The 'Army Times' published the results of its recent poll broken out by service and nationality: McCain led 63%-76%, to Obama's 17%-27%; figures don't include 'blacks', the only sector of the military that Obama won, 79% to 12%.
MILITARY PERSONNEL KNOW WHO WILL BE THE BEST COMMANDER IN CHIEF AND SO DO WE!
B.O. lies about his close relationship with Bill Ayers, the American terrorist (bombed Pentagon/Capitol). Police found an unfinished bomb intended for our military.
Fox News just uncovered a copy of Ayers' 1974 book in which his dedication was to Sirhan Sirhan, the man who cowardly murdered Robert Kennedy.
B.O. raved about one of Ayers' recent books. Is it the same one that is dedicated to a list of people; ALL ARE COP KILLERS?
McCain gave HALF A MILLION DOLLARS to Kalidi, the Palestinian terrorist, and one of his main advisers was a lobbyists for SADDAM HUSSEIN.
He palls around with terrorists!
Think about it. HALF A MILLION DOLLARS! McCain believes in anti-israel radical ideology SO MUCH that he's compelled to give $500,000 to one of the most radical anti-israel terrorists in the world.
McCain is so anti America that he gets his advice from Saddam's lobbyists!!
You're despararate if you have to go back to the 1990's to find something against John McCain. I'm not going to waste time going over the same facts - you won't face them.
Why not look at the present? ALL OF B.O.'S FRIENDS ARE TERRORISTS, MARXISTS, COMMUNISTS, ETC. SO "ALL" HIS FRIENDS ARE ANTI-SEMETIC!
The Obamas and the Khalidis (PLO advisor) eat dinner in each other's homes regularly; the Khalidis babysit for B.O.'s kids.
This is all I know. McCain gave Khalidi half a million dollars.
That money was invested in palestinian car bombs which killed our Israeli allies.
If you like terrorists, then vote for McCain. But after 9-11 I hate terrorists TOO MUCH, I can't vote for somebody who gave a terrorist $500,000. A vote for McCain would be treason, and it would mean that all those firefighters heros died in vain on 9-11.
Sarah Palin was a member of the secessionist party in Alaska: the Alaska Independence Party. Their platform is that they hate America so much that they want Alaska to secede and NO LONGER BE PART OF the USA.
CBS and ABC said that Sarah Palin was not a member of the AIP, the group trying to secede from the US. Jack Coghill, former Lt Gov of Alaska, said that being friendly with the AIP for Republicans was "common" in the 90s. Almost like B.O.'s being a Democrat and friendly with the Black Panther Party; but the AIP won't further an AGENDA to overthrow democracy.
You don't sound like a real conservative?
God bless John McCain, God bless Sarah Palin, God bless the USA.
Obama will keep wasteful programs and create more new big government programs.
He will pay for these increases by raising taxes on seniors, parents, small business owners and people with even a modest investment in the market. Thats not change we can believe in.
Ah ah ah! Check out realclearpoliticsDOTcom, a website listing all the nationwide polling going on.
Of all the battleground states, the only one McCain is winning is Missouri. Obama's got Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and New Hampshire.
If the election were today, Obama would win by a larger margin than Clinton won in 1992.
Online tool estimates taxes under McCain, Obama..By JERRY HARKAVY, Associated Press Writer Fri Sep 26, 5:01 AM ET
On taxes the model indicates that a couple with two children earning $100,000 with $20,000 in itemized deductions would have a net tax bill for 2009 of $9,555 under McCain and $9,002 under Obama...pay less taxes with Obama..think about it!!!
Obama said John McCain was right 12 TIMES during the debate, this video is evidence. Someone must have coached Obama to do this since he did it 12 times.
McCain please call Obama on the actual cost of Obama's proposed tax increases. What has to be pointed out is that Obama's tax increase for every business that makes over $250,000 will demand the price of every product produced in America, from gasoline to Snicker Bars to Charmin Toilet Tissue to a loaf of bread, will go up in direct proportion to the amount Obama increases their producers taxes. The people most affected by Obama's tax increases will be the poor! America's economy crushed!
If middle class Americans get more of a tax break, they will consume more, which mean the big businesses will make more of a profit, which means they will not need to raise prices to compensate for their tax increase.
By powering the economy from the bottom up Obama will make it more vibrant, making life better for everybody.
Trickle down economy has had it's chance under Bush, and it didn't work, it's time to go back to the same tax rates as REAGAN, which is what Obama suggests.
I disagree, it's shown that when businesses get tax breaks product prices usually go down. Especially at this time, when businesses will be needing all of the breaks they can get, not price ceilings. Raising taxes on businesses causes unnecessary inflation, look at Germany, many of their businesses are hightailing it out of their. As prices go down, people will consume more. And a 10% tax break won't do much for you when inflation is at 12% because of the raised taxes on businesses will it?
Well, I am glad we both endorse Obama then! He will cut taxes on 98% of businesses! Great! So prices will go down.
Now if you think that giving tax breaks to HUGE corporations like Exxon makes prices go down, how exactly do you explain that gas costs FOUR TIMES MORE under Bush than under Clinton?
Man, Exxon made SIXTY BILLION DOLLARS over the last 3 months. I say they don't NEED a tax cut. ME AND YOU need a tax cut.
He's cutting taxes on the people making the money, but he's RAISING taxes on the business. My family runs a small business that I've been involved with for years, I think I know how this works. He's also increasing expenses businesses have to pay to employees, which you should know all about already.
Of course they were low under Clinton, we didn't have a war, and the spend massive amounts of cash congress.
Let's see how good your tax cut is when inflation hits it, oh you'll love it.
Fact 1. Inflation was lower under Clinton than it is under Bush.
Fact 2: Obama will cut taxes on 98% of all small businesses. Not just individuals, BUSINESSES too.
Fact 3: Under Clinton we didn't have a war because we didn't make the mistake of starting one. WE're spending $400 million EVERY SINGLE DAY in Iraq, because of Bush's and McCan's mistake. Obama was right, McCain was wrong.
Your figures are straight out of far left-wing ultra liberal MSM with little TRUTH! B.O. takes every side of every issue, so he is at least 50% liar.
He started out saying he would only tax those making $250,000; then he said $200,000; now Joe Biden says $150,000; and Bill Richardson just said it is $120,000. In about 2 weeks the figure dropped more than 50%. He's voted 94 times for tax increase; the last was for individuals making over $42,000.
Obama voted 94 times for tax increases for individuals making $42k
McCain voted 477 times for tax increases to people making $42k
McCain is clearly a tax and spend liberal, since he voted for tax increases five times more often than Obama.
Obama is not going to increase taxes for people making less than $250k, he's going to CUT taxes for people making $200k or less, and he's going to cut them by more than $1000 for people making $150k or less. What's the problem?
It took me awhile, but I now realize that I'm not dealing with a sincere person who wants to know truth.
I gave you proof that Sarah Palin was not a member of the AIP. It's also in print that her husband was a member for 1 year, but didn't attend meetings. So get off the subject!
I gave you proof of all of the different figures coming out of the mouthes of Obama/Biden/Richardson. Skew the various figures any way you want to make you feel better.
(Cont) You are out and out lying saying that McCain voted 477 times for tax increases. And calling him a liberal is beyond retarded. Dems are the liberals, going over the cliff into complete Socialism.
The nature of DEMOCRATS is to TAX-SPEND-CUT DEFENSE! Always!
Your messiah is the #1 left-wing liberal of all. Welfare and driver's licenses for illegals? $1.2 TRILLION health care program? How much will his civilian Getapo cost?
Look it up!!!! Biden accused McCain of voting for tax increases 477 times during the VP debate, and Mccain NEVER EVER refuted that.
It's true!
Also, Bush is the biggest spender in US history, and McCain approved all of his budgets. If he is against excessive government spending, HOW ABOUT VOTING AGAINST IT?
McCain, voted to raise taxes 477 times, and voted for Bush's big spending budgets. I hate RINOs. I hate liberals!
Tax and spend all the way back to Arizona, McCain, you fake republican!
He's the democrat's worst nightmare because they've been promoting him as their greatest bipartisan ally for the last 8 years. It's awfully hard to tie him to Bush when John Kerry wanted to make him his VP. Maybe they shouldn't have praised him as a bipartisan hero for the last 8 years. How many bills have democrats cosponsored with him over the last 8 years? Enough to instill fear in the likes of the Nancy Pelosi's and Howard Dean's of the world.
If terrorist could vote in america they would vote for mcain why?He would send them more soldiers to kill give them more exciting.Hell Mccain would even destroy america for them:D. Amazing you american.Let me think the average IQ in america is propably 61?With a president with Alzheimer and a vice president who is a bad mother. How can a bad mother be a good vice president? You are the laughingstock of the world BYE america
lol my english is bad?Oh my god the drama,America's economy is sour and bad all over, the worlds more prominent? or the worlds most prominent. Superpower? OR superpoor.I laugh in your face wuhauhauhauha and misty why thank you very much. You all know that you live in a country where almost everything is corrupt even your president. He forged letters to go to war in Iraq. It was on CNN just search on youtube. You're all afraid of your own govermnent. And you know that
how are u gonna solve iraq wat exactly are u trying to accomplish. we should look more for the imaginary wmd or we should kill all the terriosts. No i gotta better idea will kill all the iraquis and create a civil war how does that sound.
so your argument about Palin is inexperienced boomerangs back to Obama? I mean come on, do I want Obama to run the Iraq war hahah.. please.. McCain is not dying anytime soon. Hell vote him in for now and then vote for hillary in 4 years. I, of all people, would vote hillary over obama. Come on people get real
It would be great to have Palin for president. If not now, in 4 or 8 years.
Yes, the liberals are running scared. They have nominated the most liberal senator to run as president when everyone knows extreme leftists are not electable in national elections. Clinton positioned himself as a moderate to win in 1992. Obama can't do that. His voting record in Illinois and in the Senate says "LIBERAL".
Up at night? That old fool? Please... The economy is collapsing around us, our unemployment is through the roof (6.1% officially), Bush government bureaucrats are screwing and doing cocaine with oil company employees... But Old Mr. McBush the fake "maverick" wants to keep drilling for oil and spending 2 billion a month of our taxes on a war based on lies, with no exit strategy and no end in sight. Terrific. I know who I'm NOT voting for.
Sarah Palin takes credit for killing the bride to nowhere in Alaska, she says- "I told the federal government if I wanted to build a bridge to nowhere we here in Alaska would build it ourselves"
But in reality Sarah Palin was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it.
IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) gives McCain a D grade, and Obama a B+. DIV (Disabled Iraq Veterans) give McCain a 20%, and Obama an 80%.
Troops deployed in Iraq donated SIX TIMES more to Obama than to McCain.
Vote for who you will, but don't forget who we the troops are supporting.
p.s. if you disagree with my figures, DISPUTE them rationally, don't call me names or change the subject.
@realconservative1: Wow, deceive much? More troops gave to Republicans than Obama. McCain's donations were split because the primaries weren't over when the study was done:
Here it is by $: Obama, Barack $335,536 #859 McCain, John $280,513 #558 Paul, Ron $232,411 #537 Clinton, Hillary $167,050 #376 Republican National Cmte $135,902 #219 Huckabee, Mike $66,751 #127 Thompson, Fred $46,400 #93 Romney, Mitt $43,307 #96 Giuliani, Rudolph W $22,050 #47 National Republican Sen. Cmte $21,885 #26 DNC Services Corp $16,873 #53
Yeah, those "Terrorists" are really "shaking in their boots"...
John McCain - A 72 year old SENILE DWARF and Sarah Palin - his "beauty queen", Former Miss America pageant contestant (1984) Sarah Palin....NO EXPERIENCE and CURRENTLY BREASTFEEDING!
Obama took off to Hawaii for a vacation today But Doesn't Offer Real Energy Solutions That Will Help Americans: Obama Will Be Relaxing While Hawaiians Pay Over $4.46 For A Gallon Of Gasoline. Neil Abercrombie (D-HI )Supports Offshore Drilling. The House has Republicans & Democrats who want more drilling to relieve gas prices, but Obama Continues To Say No To Offshore Drilling & To Energy Solutions That Provide Relief & Help Americans... Obama's Energy Wipeout.
That is so hilarious and pre Democratic primary. America now sees that McLame is a droid, who can't even complete a sentence, from prepared materials. What a freakin' laugh.
Today, 7/13/08, Obama Said That He Would Not Abandon The Field In Iraq And Would Leave A Residual Force There To Fight Al Qaeda And Train Iraqi Forces. Obama: "I have never talked about leaving the field entirely." BALONEY!!! Today, Obama's National Co-Chair Also Said Obama's 16-Month Withdrawal Plan Was, "Just A Goal." FLASHBACK: Obama Committed To Having Troops Out In 16 Months. Obama can NOT be trusted PERIOD.
Well his true colors are coming out now that the Democratic race is over...He was never any different then other Politicians, he is just a great speech maker and that is his strength, everything else is 0.
CHICAGO - Bernie Mac, during an appearance Friday night (7/11/08) at a fundraiser for Obama at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago said, '"My little nephew came to me and he said, 'Uncle, what's the difference between a hypothetical question & a realistic question? I said, 'Go upstairs and ask your mother if she'd make love to the mailman for $50,000.'" It evoked an angry response from the audience, who paid $2,300 each to Obama. "It's not funny & is offensive to women, shouted the crowd."
Obama's Campaign Is Vetting Sen. Chris Dodd As A Possible Vice President Candidate. Dodd Received Sweetheart Loan Deals From Countrywide Financial Through A Little-Known Program That Waived Points, Lender Fees, & Company Borrowing Rules For Some Prominent People. Dodd, Democrat From Connecticut & Chairman Of The Banking Committee, Refinanced Properties Through Countrywide's 'V.I.P.' Program In 2003 & 2004. Obama's VP Vetter, Jim Johnson, Resigned For Receiving Sweetheart Deals From Countrywide.
Chris Dodd would never be a VP to an inexperienced arrogant leader.. not to mention that Dodd does not agree with Obamas many policies when or if President.
Obama's Economic Policies & Rhetoric Consist Of Saying One Thing And Doing Another. Obama Pledged Not To Raise Taxes, But Voted Twice In Favor Of The Democrats' FY 2009 Budget, Which Would Raise Tax Rates For Americans Earning $31,850 Or More: (S. Con. Res. 70, CQ Vote #85, Adopted 51-44: R 2-43; D 47-1; I 2-0, 3/14/08, Obama Voted Yea; S. Con. Res. 70, CQ Vote #142: Adopted 48- 45: R 2- 44; D 44- 1; I 2-0, 6/4/08, Obama Voted Yea).
Obama's Economic Policies & Rhetoric Consist Of Saying One Thing And Doing Another. Obama Pledged Not To Raise Taxes. Tax rates would increase for ALL brackets. The 25% bracket begins at $31,850 for individuals & $63,700 for married couples. The 35% bracket on incomes over $349,700 would jump to 39.6%.
Obama Voted 94 Times For Higher Taxes In The U.S. Senate, Voted For A Tax Increase Once Every Five Days Congress Has Been In Session & Supported Hundreds Of Tax Increases In The State Senate.
Hillary Clinton: "Obama promises to withdraw from Iraq within 16 months. His top foreign policy adviser also said he's not really going to rely on that plan. That plan is just words, too. We need a president who will solve problems. Who will fight for our families long after the speeches are over and the cameras are gone. That's the choice in this campaign: Solutions you can rely on - versus words you can't."
Hillary Clinton: "I think that there is a certain phenomenon associated with Obama's candidacy. It is very much about him and his personality and his presentation. That dangerously oversimplifies the complexity of the problems we face, the challenge of navigating our country through some difficult, uncharted waters. We are a nation at war. That seems to be forgotten."
Obama Is Arguing That, "Living In A Foreign Country At The Age Of 10 Prepares Me To Face The Big, Complex International Challenges The Next President Will Face." Hillary Clinton: "Now voters will judge whether living in a foreign country at the age of 10 prepares one to face the big, complex international challenges the next president will face. I think we need a president with more experience than that."
Appearing together in solidarity, John McCain & Iraq's president said Saturday that Iraq is making significant progress. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said an American military presence still was needed. "We both agree that the progress has been significant but the progress is also fragile. There's a lot of work that needs to be done," McCain said. Talabani nodded in agreement and said, "It was a pleasure and an honor and Iraq has achieved good successes and achievements."
Iraq's president said: "We are still in need to have American military presence in Iraq, and it must be decided by both governments of the United States & Iraq how much they will remain there." McCain said, "I am confident that the two nations, as sovereign nations, will reach agreement in the best interests of the United States of America and the best interests of Iraq. We are winning in Iraq, and we will withdraw, but we will withdraw in victory and in honor," McCain said.
They Said It! Obama's Senior Domestic Policy Adviser Neera Tanden On Obama's Health Care And Housing Plans: "By choosing to forgo a mandate, it's not universal. It will leave 15 million Americans uninsured. Even with a subsidy, millions of Americans will not get health insurance. Obama announced a series of broad, vague principles, while offering no new concrete solutions to provide Americans with greater confidence in the market or keep them in their homes."
Obama, in his first national TV ad rolled out Friday, claims credit for having "extended health care for wounded troops," citing the 2008 defense authorization. That bill passed 91-3 - but Obama didn't show up to vote. This brazen claim underscores Obama's thin resume and, again, his chutzpah.
Alexi Giannoulias, A Long Time Obama Supporter, Backed By Obama In His Successful Bid For Illinois State Treasurer, Gave Mortgages To A Noted Crime Figure, Michael Giorango, a convicted bookmaker & prostitution ring promoter, That Were Used In The Purchase Of A Casino. Giannoulias, National Chairman of Greeks for Obama Committee, was one of Obama's earliest supporters during his candidacy for the Senate & has been in the forefront of the Obama presidential campaign.
They Said It!: Obama Says To Female Clinton Supporters, "Get Over It," And Lied About Public Financing, Breaking His Promise To Everyone. Diane Watson (D-CA) To Obama: "Don't Use That Terminology." Diane Watson, a longtime Clinton supporter, just to name one, didn't like Obama's words - 'Get over it.' She found them dismissive, off-putting. 'Don't use that terminology,' Watson told Obama." (6/20/08)
Hillary Clinton: "Obama said he would take public financing & now he's saying he won't. Actions speak louder than words. No matter how beautiful the words are & how well presented, you've got to get beyond the words. Now we're seeing how the words don't even mean what we thought they meant. I think it raises some serious questions about what it is he stands for."
Howard Wolfson: "Obama does not have a long record in public life. He is asking voters to judge him on his rhetoric & promises. He pledged to take public financing. He's going back on that pledge, he's broken that pledge. And he has a history & pattern of saying one thing & doing another."
Soros "sour grapes" lurks in the background of his puppet Obama Jr. like Dracula ready to suck the life out of EVERYONE. We need to stop this Obama madness.
Per McCain only FOOLS talk up war--per ad on youtube. So what was Bom Bom Bom Iran stuff?
Fool or flipflop? With McLame, you've BOTH.
1st try talking to Iran. Iran develops nukes?-THEN blow them into black angry slag. No more talk. No more baby-step frontal Iraqi assaults. This ain't your father's Normandy invasion.
No preemptive strikes, no spinning mistakes into policy. Talk, measure results, ACT.
In 11/07, Obama answered "yes" when asked: "If you're nominated for president in 2008 & your major opponents agree to forgo private funding in the general election campaign, will you participate in the presidential public financing system?" Obama said, "Yes." He added: "I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election." The system he's opting out of is paid for by taxpayers when they file their tax returns.
Ads sponsored by Obama's special interest groups are attacking McCain. Obama falsely claims he shutdown anti-McCain groups to justify abandoning his public financing pledge. Obama rolled out television ads in 18 states. He broke his promise to the American people & announced a $53 million campaign against McCain. Obama is too weak to tell big unions & special interests to stop their attacks & he covets their endorsement & attacks others like the coward and liar he is.
NOTE: Obama Has Made No Effort To Meet One-On-One With Gen. David Petraeus. NOTE: Obama Has Not Met With Troops Or Commanders On The Ground In Iraq In Over Two Years. It Has Been 893 Days Since Obama Visited Troops & Commanders In Iraq.
Obama Vs. Obama: In a Discussion With Iraq's Foreign Minister, Obama said he "Would Consult With Iraqi Leaders & U.S. Military Commanders On his Plans For Withdrawal," & said, "Whatever decision I would reach would be made through close consultation with the Iraqi government & U.S. military commanders in the field." FLASHBACK: "Regardless Of Advice I Receive From Commanders On The Ground, if I'm elected president, I set the mission & that's not the role of generals." 4/16/08
Obama: "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun." (Obama, Remarks At Fundraiser, Philadelphia, PA, 6/14/08)
FLASHBACK: Obama: "I chose to run because I believed that Americans of every political stripe were hungry for a new kind of politics that focused not just on how to win but why we should, a politics that focused on those values & ideals that we held in common as Americans." (Obama, Remarks At Campaign Event, Des Moines, Iowa, 12/27/07)
It's getting crowded under Obama's bus. Washington power broker James Johnson got tossed under, joining Chicago wheeler-dealer Tony Rezko. NOW Obama needs to turn HIS attention to ERIC HOLDER, Another Member Of his VP Vetting Committee, who played a key role in the pardon of notorious tax-cheat fugitive Marc Rich. Obama adviser Eric H. Holder Jr. is scrutinizing candidates to be Obama's running mate. Even Henry Waxman said the Rich pardon "set a double standard for the wealthy & the powerful."
Another Case Where Obama's Rhetoric Doesn't Match His Actions:
On June 4, 2008, John McCain invited Barack Obama to join him at 10 town hall meetings to discuss the important issues facing our nation. Senator McCain & the American people are still waiting for Obama to agree. Obama's latest proposal is for 1 town hall meeting on July 4th, when many Americans will be with family & friends watching fireworks. Also as of June 13, 2008, it has been 887 days since Obama visited Iraq.
Is this what you mean by bringing change to Washington, Obama?
Q. "You voted to raise taxes something like 94 times. That seems to be the drumbeat that's going to happen during your campaign. Are you going to raise taxes in a big way for average Americans?"
A. "I mean this is the standard fare of politics. And the truth of the matter is that the only bills that I voted for, for the most part, were with George Bush." - Barack Obama
Obama Promised To Clean Up "Special-Interest-Driven" Politics, Obama's Special Interest Double Standard:
Obama: "The more transparency we can bring to Washington, the less likely it is that Washington will be run by lobbyists and special interests."
ERIC HOLDER, A Member Of Obama's Vice Presidential Vetting Team, Was Involved In A Sweetheart Deal Which Granted Fugitive Financier MARC RICH a Controversial Pardon.
I don't know who I'm voting for yet, but whoever wins, they'll at least make better speeches than that idiot we've had for the last eight years. Seriously - anyone who actually appreciated the leader of our nation's malformed, colloquial rhetoric should be relegated to the status of peasant and be put to work in a salt mine. Our leaders should come across as smart, not your dumbass everyman.
Obama Has Voted For A Tax Increase Approximately Once Every 5 Days Congress Has Been In Session: He voted in favor of rasing tax rates for Americans earning as little as $31,850. NOTE: Obama's Votes Are At Odds With His Rhetoric On The Campaign Trail, Where He Claims He'll Provide Tax Relief For Working Americans. Obama: "I'll give a tax cut to working people." BALONEY!
Obama Has Voted For A Tax Increase Approximately Once Every 5 Days Congress Has Been In Session: He voted at least 7 times against tax incentives benefitting small business. He voted against capital gains tax cuts at least 9 times. He voted against tax cuts on dividend income at least 9 times.
Obama Has Voted For A Tax Increase Approximately Once Every 5 Days Congress Has Been In Session: He voted at least 12 times for higher income taxes. He voted against Marriage Penalty Relief at least twice. He voted against extending The Expanded Child Tax Credit. He voted at least 3 times against repealing the 1993 income tax increase on social security benefits. He voted at least 5 times against providing relief from The Alternative Minimum Tax.
Obama's campaign members are receiving favors the average American would never get. Obama routinely rails against lobbyists & corporate insiders, yet his campaign is stocked with both. Now it turns out that the man leading his vice presidential selection team is receiving highly questionable loans from Countrywide. Jim Johnson is also a bundler for Obama's presidential campaign. With Obama discussing the economy today, HE needs to stand up & address the mortgage scandals within his campaign.
Do you mean like how McCain has lobbyists on his staff and implement his economic policy like Gramm from UBS? Don't throw rock in glass house McCain boy.
McCain contrasted his views on global warming & energy independence with those of President Bush, & he criticized Obama for voting for Bush's energy bill, which gave more breaks to the oil industry. "I opposed it because I know we won't achieve energy independence by repeating the mistakes of the last half-century. That's not change we can believe in," McCain said.
You are right buddy34. I have respect for McCain for the same reason many of the hard right don't like him. He is not a blind conservative, he is more of a moderate who does what is right instead of blindly following party lines. We need more people like him and Lieberman out there.
buddy34, I agree with your comments. Concerning Wright I do not refer to him as "Rev" I'm still waiting for Obama to go on the factor!! McCain in 08!!
"Americans ought to be concerned about the judgment of Obama, who says he's ready to talk in person & without conditions, with tyrants, but hasn't traveled to Iraq to meet with General David Petraeus, & see for himself the progress he 'threatens' to reverse," McCain said. Obama, a first-term Illinois senator, lacks experience & discretion. He hasn't been willing to make the tough calls, to challenge his party, to risk criticism from his supporters, to bring real change to Washington. McCain has.
Antoin "Tony" Rezko, a fundraiser for Obama, was convicted Wednesday, June 4, 2008, of fraud & money laundering & provided details of pay-to-play politics & testimony about drug-fueled parties. The governor discussed a state job for a donor after the donor handed over a $25,000 check for Blagojevich's campaign. He's guilty of 16 of 24 counts, including scheming to get kickbacks from money management firms seeking state business & a contractor building a hospital in northern Illinois.
Obama has known Rezko for years, even when Obama first entered politics & Obama was involved in a real estate deal with Rezko. Obama's campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
We have seen the sexism AND racism you have been up against, and you made this nation PROUD! Thank you. Join us in the VICTORY with John McCain!
There is nothing wrong with changing your mind if you were a democratic supporter who wants to support a republican now. That's what freedom is all about!!!
Obama suggests that Iran is trying to develop a nuclear program because the U.S. refuses to engage in presidential-level talks. The Clinton administration tried to engage Iran for two years, even lifting some sanctions, to no avail. "Even so, we hear Obama talk of a meeting with the Iranian leadership offered up as if it were some sudden inspiration, a bold new idea that somehow nobody has ever thought of before," McCain said.
Obama also said, "the pastor & the Trinity United Church of Christ have been suffering from the attention my campaign has focused on them." BALONEY! Obama is suffering because voters found out HE'S a racist who does NOT denounce a church that says offensive things to ALL Americans such as, "God damn America" & "We are an African people & remain true to our native land," & "the U.S.A. government created AIDS" & praises Louis Farrakhan. God BLESS America!
Obama said, after campaign officials released a letter of resignation, May 30, 2008, to Trinity United Church of Christ, "I'm not denouncing the church & I'm not interested in people who want me to denounce the church."
Yes We Can!!! John McCain..come on people it is time for change..ANY change is better than the same old stuffed shirts, and friends of the rich that have been governing America for most of the last 140 or so years. We are tired of fighting this useless war just so George W Bush and his friends and business partners the Bin Laden family can keep everyone distracted as long as possible so they can make more money!! vote Obama
Obama is an appeaser, the solution of defeatism. An appeaser is someone who feeds a crocodile in the hope it will eat him last. John McCain is a winner. That's someone who has and does achieve against any opponent, opposition or difficulty.
Asked about Obama's claim that McCain favors a 100-year military presence in Iraq, McCain countered that Obama has "no experience or background on national security issues." U.S. forces have remained in Japan and Korea for decades, he said, where they help provide security for the region as well as the United States. McCain comes from a family devoted to honor, courage and duty.
Democratic rivals of John McCain are making reckless promises they cannot keep by also pledging speedy U.S. troop withdrawals from Iraq. "I do not believe that anyone should make promises as a candidate for president that they cannot keep if elected," McCain said.
Obama said he'd be willing to talk to anyone, without condition, including Iran's President, the leader of hamas, and so on. Without condition.
Yet, he won't even meet with Bill O'reilly.
Another example of Obama's disengenuous nature (Like his "100 year war" reference), a nature which is ruled by political calculation. This is McGovern, 1972. He's going to lose in a landslide, but the truth is, with Obama turning away Hillary's Bunch (Steinem, et al.), the Black Victory is still huge.
McCain, a former Navy fighter pilot & a Vietnam POW, was also elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982. McCain won the first of four terms in the Senate in 1986 as well. On March 4, 2008, he won the Republican presidential nomination. He has incredible courage, experience, strength of character & perseverance to this very day. That's exactly what we need in a president.
Barack Hussein Obama Jr. & Hillary Rodham Clinton would be worse presidents than President Bush or John McCain. John McCain has the experience & the character to lead this great country & will do so with excellence. John McCain won the Republican presidential nomination on March 4, 2008. Everybody experiences failures in life, but men who are a success overcome, rise above & come back. That's what success is all about. Accept the challenges & feel the victory.
hey JohnMcCaindotcom how come you support McCain when hes signing for illegal immigration ? hes signing to let Millions of illegal immigrants in the USA and he wants to make Bush Tax Cut Permanent Bush Tax Cut is ruining the Economy and has cost many people there Jobs and did you know that McCain has a adopted Muslim daughter named Bridget McCain from a Muslim country called Bangdelish ? the Bush Tax Cut has caused food prices and gas prices to rise and he also lied in many states to supporters
On Monday, April 28, 2008, Wright criticized the U.S. government again as imperialist and stood by his suggestion that the United States invented the HIV virus as a means of genocide against minorities. Wright also called on God to "damn America." Wright admitted that Obama's church congregation secretly agrees. This is offensive to ALL Americans and to ALL races. No Thanks, Obama.
i think the gov't did, just like they gave syphillis to the tuskegee airman and suspsiciously placed it in the homosexual community and then created another strand in the country of africa and in the black community here in america. Newseek put out an article about aids in 1986 suggesting the truthfulness behind the claim you should read it. Wright is not running for prez so if u don't want obama find but don't blame it on wright.
Rev. Jeremiah Wright of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago officiated at Obama's wedding, baptized his two daughters and has been his pastor, friend & mentor for over 20 years. The title of Obama's second book came from a Wright sermon.
Obama was again drawn into Antoin 'Tony' Rezko's corruption trial. Obama put a figure to the amount of campaign contributions that indicted political fund-raiser Rezko raised for him, "about $250,000," which was more than Obama previously acknowledged. "It's hard for me to know precisely. I don't have the capacity to go back and figure out. There might be additional dollars," Obama said. Obama also bought land adjacent to his home from Rezko, knowing Rezko was under federal investigation.
William Ayers, a member of the Weather Underground, embraced bombing during the Vietnam War & has radical ties to Obama. "He became friends with Ayers & spent time with him. The guy's unrepentant over his activities as a member of a terrorist organization, the Weathermen. Obama's defense "borders on the outrageous," McCain said. Obama even compared Ayers to Dr. Tom Coburn. McCain called Coburn a "great humanitarian" & "in my view, one of the greatest spokespersons for the rights of the unborn."
Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton would impose the single largest tax increase since World War II by allowing tax cuts to expire & failing to extend them would amount to tax increases for millions of people by thousands of dollars per year. "Both promise big 'change.' And a trillion dollars in new taxes over the next decade would certainly fit that description," McCain said. "All these tax increases are the fine print under the slogan of 'hope,' and they have the audacity to hope you don't mind."
John McCain said, "It is the people from small towns in America who survived the Great Depression, fought in World War Two and built a strong postwar economy who are the heart and soul of this country. I think Obama's remarks may be defining, because it shows a fundamental attitude about the heartland of America, that basically says that it's economic conditions that shape their values," and the remarks may well have defined Obama for Americans as representing "a certain out-of-touch elitism."
Barack Obama spent a fourth day on Monday, April 14, 2008, defending himself for calling people in small towns with economic blight, "bitter working class voters who cling to guns or religion," and also said, "Now it may be that I chose my words badly. It wasn't the first time and it won't be the last." Obama also did not reject plans to meet representatives of Hamas, a Palestinian militant group that the United States considers a terrorist organization.
Today, Saturday, April 12, 2008, Barack Hussein Obama Jr. conceded that comments he made about "bitter working class voters who cling to guns or religion" were ill chosen, as he tried to stem a burst of complaints that he is condescending. "I didn't say it as well as I should have," he said.

The 'Army Times' published the results of its recent poll broken out by service and nationality: McCain led 63%-76%, to Obama's 17%-27%; figures don't include 'blacks', the only sector of the military that Obama won, 79% to 12%.

To Obamabots:
B.O. lies about his close relationship with Bill Ayers, the American terrorist (bombed Pentagon/Capitol).

How could McCain hate America so much? Scary RINO

John McCain is the only patriot here!
LivingGodsWay 3 years ago
This is all I know. McCain gave Khalidi half a million dollars.
That money was invested in palestinian car bombs which killed our Israeli allies.
If you like terrorists, then vote for McCain. But after 9-11 I hate terrorists TOO MUCH, I can't vote for somebody who gave a terrorist $500,000. A vote for McCain would be treason, and it would mean that all those firefighters heros died in vain on 9-11.
Fuck McCain and his terrorist buddies!

Sarah Palin was a member of the secessionist party in Alaska: the Alaska Independence Party. Their platform is that they hate America so much that they want Alaska to secede and NO LONGER BE PART OF the USA.
How is that putting country first?
realconservative1946 3 years ago
realconservative1946
CBS and ABC said that Sarah Palin was not a member of the AIP, the group trying to secede from the US. Jack Coghill, former Lt Gov of Alaska, said that being friendly with the AIP for Republicans was "common" in the 90s. Almost like B.O.'s being a Democrat and friendly with the Black Panther Party; but the AIP won't further an AGENDA to overthrow democracy.
You don't sound like a real conservative?
God bless John McCain, God bless Sarah Palin, God bless the USA.

Someone must have coached Obama to do this since he did it 12 times.
patriciaoday 3 years ago
McCain please call Obama on the actual cost of Obama's proposed tax increases. What has to be pointed out is that Obama's tax increase for every business that makes over $250,000 will demand the price of every product produced in America, from gasoline to Snicker Bars to Charmin Toilet Tissue to a loaf of bread, will go up in direct proportion to the amount Obama increases their producers taxes. The people most affected by Obama's tax increases will be the poor! America's economy crushed!
camshaff 3 years ago 4
If middle class Americans get more of a tax break, they will consume more, which mean the big businesses will make more of a profit, which means they will not need to raise prices to compensate for their tax increase.
By powering the economy from the bottom up Obama will make it more vibrant, making life better for everybody.
Trickle down economy has had it's chance under Bush, and it didn't work, it's time to go back to the same tax rates as REAGAN, which is what Obama suggests.
realconservative1946 3 years ago 2
i agree
Venue0309 3 years ago
I disagree, it's shown that when businesses get tax breaks product prices usually go down. Especially at this time, when businesses will be needing all of the breaks they can get, not price ceilings. Raising taxes on businesses causes unnecessary inflation, look at Germany, many of their businesses are hightailing it out of their. As prices go down, people will consume more. And a 10% tax break won't do much for you when inflation is at 12% because of the raised taxes on businesses will it?
gavenjenno 3 years ago 2
Well, I am glad we both endorse Obama then! He will cut taxes on 98% of businesses! Great! So prices will go down.
Now if you think that giving tax breaks to HUGE corporations like Exxon makes prices go down, how exactly do you explain that gas costs FOUR TIMES MORE under Bush than under Clinton?
Man, Exxon made SIXTY BILLION DOLLARS over the last 3 months. I say they don't NEED a tax cut. ME AND YOU need a tax cut.
realconservative1946 3 years ago
Obama is NOT cutting taxes on businesses.
Inflation. You do understand that gas prices went up for various other economic reasons, right?
Remember excess profits allow for prices to go downward.
gavenjenno 3 years ago 2
Obama is cutting taxes on anybody making $200k or less, which includes 98% of small business owners.
Find me an independent non-partisan study that casts doubt on this fact about Obama's plan.
Gas prices were low under Clinton and high under Bush for many reasons. Unless you're a PhD in economics you can't list all factors involved.
But Democrat's economic plan = low gas prices, low unemployment
Republican's plan = high gas prices, high unemployment
Plus I get a bigger tax cut from Obama!
realconservative1946 3 years ago
He's cutting taxes on the people making the money, but he's RAISING taxes on the business. My family runs a small business that I've been involved with for years, I think I know how this works. He's also increasing expenses businesses have to pay to employees, which you should know all about already.
Of course they were low under Clinton, we didn't have a war, and the spend massive amounts of cash congress.
Let's see how good your tax cut is when inflation hits it, oh you'll love it.
gavenjenno 3 years ago

B.O. lies!
LivingGodsWay 3 years ago
Obama voted 94 times for tax increases for individuals making $42k
McCain voted 477 times for tax increases to people making $42k
McCain is clearly a tax and spend liberal, since he voted for tax increases five times more often than Obama.
Obama is not going to increase taxes for people making less than $250k, he's going to CUT taxes for people making $200k or less, and he's going to cut them by more than $1000 for people making $150k or less. What's the problem?

There isn't ANYBODY in the history of the US Senate who has voted for more tax increases than McCain
