I have this game on the actual cartridge. Sucks for you guys that just have emulators. If you think i'm lying look in my video uploads, i made a video of the cartridge.
Well, it wasn't actually "Great Fox" then. And I don't think the people are any better than the 64's. In fact, I applaud the 64 for using actual speech. They actually put me in the game.
What I do think is neat is how much of this game carried over. In many ways, Starfox64 IS this game.
All I mean is the mothership was not called Great Fox back then. In fact, it didn't have a name. But the characters in 64 are only boxy due to the hardware limitations, not the game. N64 couldn't round off polygons.
i have a rom of the game but because of the sprites u need to use the snes9x or else it's gonna be screwy on the others
good example
if used on the zsnes everytime u get into a battle the enemy keeps getting out of range and the screen constantly blacks in and out
make it impossible to play
i am one of the lucky ones to have the game and the translation patch for it if i can figure out how to make the snes9x emulator recording work then i will put up some vids of it
@MalukuMix Agreed. The song is quite majestic and if one imagines, it's like you're holding your head up proudly and getting ready to tackle the problem. (To my opinion, the song should start at 0:27 of the video.)
That's not Great Fox, that's White Base.

Here's the perfect idea for Starfox Wii:
This exact game, only give it a different title
Instead of the leapord, it should be Krystal
Instead of the dog, it should be Katt
Peppy should fly with your team, either him or Bill
DON'T make it a Starfox 64 sequel like the rest of the games
All flying, Landmastering, and BLUE MARINING PLEASE
And finally, if they can, BRING BACK EVERY ORIGINAL VOICE FROM 64

this is for super nintendo?its like 9 yrs old, some people say that the arwing walker is annoying

Yeah, it is really hard to control IMHO
MissQuark 5 years ago
It takes a bit more practice, that's all.
It's really responsive and once you get used to it, Starfox 1 and the new games just "feel" wrong.

The N64 was just around the corner due to this game's release, and Nintendo decided to scrap this game to develop the N64 title.

Oh, this was only in Japan, never came to the US.
They are making one for DS though. Weird two characters they have in it though, never seen them in any other game...
