well, I didn't upload it, but compare it with the live version of Dolly Parton's You don't know love from Shinola in London. It's possible that we give up a tad soon? Good song, though and one of the better covers. Actually I stopped listening to popmusic in the 80's, it became more and more of the same. Popmusic still reproduces the 80's and people who could have shifted it like Shania Twain pretty much gave up. But recently there are great songs again.

i have a different interpretation of the song -- from the word itself "it must have been love, but its over now" .. my impression is it is a love affair that could have happened but unfortunately something came up and the situation didnt allow to let the 'love" go through, althoug both of them are very much aware that they love each other

I agree that at first thought love has to be forever and may seem very black and white but a deep love does not have boundaries like that. You may love someone and know that it cannot work out in the long term. Anyway, the song is great and it makes difficult times a little more painful but heightens the emotion and makes us feel alive!
