so i use this pedal as my drive, and i didnt know if its actually driving the tube or if the pedal is just breaking up the signal because of a power shortage?
this is what i've been looking for for a while now.
when i find other musicians i'm thinking of starting a... well it's hard to explain.
a prog metal/rock electronica kind of think, some post hard-core elements aswell, thats the closest to describing the stuff i've came up with already.
love to get this thing going and i thing this modulator doohickey is a must have for me.
Omar stated he actually hated the guitar at first so he bought pedals to try and change the sound. He's a wicked player. I'm a bassist, so I would love to snag this pedal and try it out. Seems like a lot of fusion players are using the Ring Modulator.
Then there's the MurF pedal by Moog... ooooooh man.
hah, I would have to describe this as being an "unnecessarily awesome" tremolo pedal. But, keep in mind, it'd be like buying a Swiss Army knife when all you need is a cork screw ;) Ty..
I bought one of these bad boys a year or so ago. I was trying to re-create the sound of the intro to Dakota by The Stereophonics. I had been told that the sound was acheived by using a ring mod but I've never quite been able to acheive it. I get closer just using a flanger. Do you (or any pedalheads reading this) have any idea how to get close to the sound?
I have an amazing Peterson Strobe tuner, thank you... I'd been playing a lot of 6 string for the last few days before shooting this... I flubbed the Am because I was grabbing for a D instead of a B. I then said, "whatever" acknowledging the mistake but being too lazy to start over. Ty...
Just shot a video of my PRS, Vibro Champ, and the Mooger with a phaser and delay... Its on my music page... give it a go if you have a few... Thanks for watching man and hope you've been well... Ty...
very nice. have been experimenting with unusual guitar riffs on my channel and through a ring modulator they sound weird and wonderful

Hi mate :) Have you tried the Ring Mod in the effects loop of a delay pedal?

I'm looking for a tremolo pedal at the moment. Is the ring modulator capable of being a decent tremolo?

But is this 'cork screw' in the same league as other 'cork screws' (e.g. Empress, Red Witch and Cusack Tremolos?

8:26 of this video is what sold me on this pedal; That kinda sounds borderline tech/grind like Psyopus =)
