  • I'm glad I was born in 81, I was able to enjoy this amazing music!

  • still there's something in you, that i believe in

    best line

  • God I just.. relate to every single line in this song except for one. The line about intoxicated ricochet, but I should give it time. I may come to relate to that part, too..

Either way, I've always adored this song, and now I do even more since I can relate to it so well... ~sigh~ life sucks some times

  • This song sounds so good turned up loud in headphones whilst your younger sisters are yelling out main stream crap....

    It's good for me.

  • this song is soo fucking catchy

  • One of the best!

  • 2:40 - 2:58 the melody is so intoxicating. song kicks major ass!

  • Actually the best part of the song is the last minute!

  • thank you for adding the lyrics. youre a champ

  • Feels like its missing something . .

  • This was my first band that I ever liked, I havent listened to them in years until this week. And they blow me away!!!!!!!! I can't stop. don't know why I ever grew up.

  • 6 Kings of leon fans were jealous at how this 14 year old song is still better than most of the music being produced today.

  • @TangyGoodness

You couldn't have said it any better

  • The begining sounds like another song...

  • that pic is almost 3d

  • In disarray, intoxicated ricochet. Such a fucking underrated band.

  • One of my favorites

  • their best album

  • Comment removed

  • I was 2 years old when my father bought this CD. So I've listened it my whole life. So much memories if i listen this album and also this song

  • Jesus Christ...I'm old.

  • getting there it seems

  • @muckdog12760 oh stop it happens to the best of us

  • @muckdog12760 Brings back some memories right!? I remember when this album was first released!

  • @muckdog12760 Yeah, I know how u feel. Hard to believe right? Aging sucks and so does most of the crap out there today.

  • @muckdog12760 bro... im 22... whenever i quote these songs I feel old. I'm not a fag. I am true metal/punk. But for some reason... 3EB is still the truest/punkest/metal album ever. And i listen to cannibal corpse, devournment, putrid pile... I'm not some other random ass fake ass grind bitch... 3EB is as brutal as it gets.

  • @spatchanator I must say... I've read this twice... and I still don't understand what drugs you are on... or how Third Eye Blind is brutal... Brutal? Amazing yes... but maybe you should read up on what brutal means...

  • @muckdog12760 No. Jesus Christ, HE's old :P

  • @muckdog12760 and wiser

  • this album isnt 22 years old.....? ur profile says ur 24 lol not to bitch or anything

  • @ tbrowniscool I'm 15 actually. I'll change my profile someday maybe.

  • ok sry to be such a picky bastard... it is fucking ace cd!!!

  • Kevin Cadogan's band was called Bully. Then came Cousin Kevin, Bully was amazing, although they were the same band I'm sure. Still, Cadogan was a gem for this record and Blue, I'm not the first, nor the last person to state how important this man is to this band, and to the cosmic harmony he plays on the guitar. Pure inspiration. Cadogan, mark Hollis, Lenny Breau

  • @moprovskaya once he left the band tanked, kevin was very important to this band.

  • aside from all the hits on this cd this is one of my favorites.

  • People forget that as emotionally deep as this album was, it still had its moments of intensity and raw feeling.

    This is one perfect example.

  • This is a song about being a stalker.

  • I was like 14 and my dad gave me this CD! It is defenitly my favorite CD of all-time!!!!!!

  • well Paper Planes is actually a Clash song called "Straight To Hell" that is awesome as it is....so you are comparing it to a cover..which is like comparing oranges to tangerines

  • Correction; Paper Planes sounds like this. Lrn2ChronologicalOrder

  • Yeah, I know it'd be the other way around but I was just trying to get a point out in the open.

  • how?....how?

  • this was the first cd i bought too age 11, it still kicks ass, i had to buy it again because it got so scratched up lol

  • btw, Cadogan methinks was in a "small" kinda band in the local area in the "Bay" in Cali...Was called Cousin Calvin's something or other

  • Yeah, Ironically I found out someone from the same high schooL liked Third Eye Blind SPECIFICALLY for Cadogan...

  • my best friend dedicated this song 2 me 2day she so cool(:

  • This was the first cd I bought with my own money at age 12 (I babysat) and now I am almost 23. I loved this song then, I love it even more now.

  • Thats pretty much what happened with me! I got this album for Christmas when i was 12. It was my first cd and i still find myself gravitating toward it all the time. The entire album is flawless from front to back

  • are u allowed to baby sit at like 12?

  • This is Art all Art that is from the heart is a form of Genius, Vulnerability, Honesty.

  • This song makes me want to bang a petite blonde.

  • ha man i feel u

  • @SleepySkepthis song makes everyone wanna bang a petite blonde

  • @SleepySkeptic ahahah : )!!

  • @SleepySkeptic and its moments like this im glad my girlfriend is 4'10 and blonde:P

  • the guitar solo is epic.

  • This is true. Only Cadogan could've made this 90's guitar sound stand out.

  • totally agree with you guys

Im a third eye blind fan but I have to recognize the band's sound became a lot more ordinary with Cadogan's departure.

  • love it, but... at the moment, Jumper is my fav right now

  • i agree he is really intelligent maybe not a genius is strong but his music is amazing the best i've ever heard and he's quite bright if you see his interviews on the big think. it's insulting when people who probably aren't talented at all insult someone who truly is and 3eb isn't pop music it's clearly alternative

  • ahhh...good memories....

  • God i fucking love this album!!

  • I get chills a 3:00 every single time

  • wat a song!...third eye blind is such an awesome band...their music is just amazing. =]

  • this song is sexxxxy ;)

    haha.

  • damn good guitar

  • One of the best CD's ever made!! EVERY song is fan-freak-en-tabulous!!

  • wow that is exactly how i feel..

  • love this song

  • "been alone my fate turn to stone". So phenomenal and deep.

  • the meaning of the song and the music is pretty powerful

  • yup yup! this is good song pen!!! and it is pretty pwerful like you said!!!! :D

  • remember 97 i was 16 so many memories and thier entire album was great .all those people you meet in life only to not know them anylonger. everysong on the album expressed how i felt at the time and still do...CLASSIC ALBUM! in my opinion

  • agreed from Losing a whole year to God of Wine this album is a very overlooked gem.

  • so true...no one understands that third eye blind is not just "semi charmed life" ...not that there is anything wrong with that song! but i kind of like that the album is kind of a little secret, not everyone knows about it or gets it

  • Oh this was one of my defying albums of my teenage years!

  • 3:25 - 3:55 is best part of the song.

  • this song is so sexy to me. it gets my blood pumping.

  • good song

  • Jenkins undoubtedly is one of the most phenominal lyracists from the '90s and today... he is incredible.

  • i agree with you like, 10000000000000000000000% or more :D i <3 TEB

  • he graduated as valedictorian of his class at the University of California, Berkeley in 1987, B.A. Literature.

    what else can i say?

    he is really a genius...

    hands down to SJ

  • fuckin tough guy, stop bitching about what a genius is and what a genius isnt and enjoy the music.

  • cadogan actually seems alot more thoughtful and creative than jenkins.

  • I think this has to be 3EB's most under-rated song.

  • Agreed. Def. in my top five.

  • fuck ya

  • just like not other TEB´s time!!!!!those songs were awesome!!!!!
