Could it be that a big reason why she's done so well, is because she's the lightest driver in the businesses (100lbs)? I see in a Google search that they changed the rules around 2008 or 2009, so that the minimum weight has to include car AND driver, and so, they probably had to add some pounds to the car.
@DonTruman I don't think winning one race in five years would be considered having "done so well" by racing standards. Danica's "success" is based on her popularity as a celebrity (i.e., swimsuit issue, commericials, etc.), NOT as a race car driver - at that, she's only average.
I wish somebody would post video of the interview she gave immediately after her run, just so everybody can see why so many people are upset with her. This interview is night and day from the first one.
Look Tony's job, he had to "carry" 5 cars on his back doing setups for Indy, it's too much job to one guy.

All the Andretti Autosport cars struggled yesterday. For Marco and Danica to be starting 16th and 23rd and for Tony to not even be in the field yet is ridiculous. These are drivers who have never started outside the top 10, led laps and nearly won this race.
She's won one race in 5 seasons, but she's the face of the IRL and the leader in merchandise sales only because she's hot. She's an average driver at best, and takes no responsibility for her own fuckups, that's why people hate on her.
No wonder Danica's going to NASCAR, since in Indycar...she was AW-FUL!!
