  • i think csfvugwheiwyriyirfify8ciaeyufcqiiasyirye your little flibbles????

  • I feel bad now loll

  • Mmhhm I don't like the way yoo are saying England and America Are Best friends it sounds like you are Thinking England Is Britain

  • apologies honey! xx

  • Introduce us to British politics

  • i will do at some point.

  • Hi Franki, I am also from the UK. First of all hasn't number 10 set up a site where you can create and petition the prime minister on subjects? i.e. like the whole road pricing thing, which 1.8 million emails signed up to. Secondly so far the only thing the US politicians have done is talk to viewer, not really interact with them. I think they just see youtube as a cheap and effective advertising tool.

  • Yes but please not how you used the word "effective". if it works, why not go for it? And although we have sites for reading about things like this, does anything actually get done i.e. the recent petition?

  • You're right the petition got nothing done (apart from get the PM's attention). My point is do you really wanna see Blair or Cameron putting stuff on youtube. I.e. more propaganda/spin. People aren't interested in politics because these people do very little positive once they have power. If they did their jobs better then maybe more people would be interested.

  • I think that our PM does alot for this country. Admittedly, not as much as he could, but we would not have the minimum wage without him.

Cameron will win the next election in my opinion. He's more "media friendly" than Gordon Brown.

  • He is more media friendly, i don't really like him. To be honest the current set of politicians seem like idiots to me. I agree Cameron will win the next election.

  • voting is pretty much a scam in america, like a 3rd world country. no way to tell if an absentee ballot was counted either. welcome to the nwo voting machine hell

  • and still people do it...

  • Thank You I found your video much much more informative than the video your responding to. I hadn't thought much about thier ability to relate to us in that way, but it does have a large impact.

  • It shows an understanding of how many peolpe actually use youtube and if you take into account the age of people who post on here you see that they are mainly young.

  • A few comments: 1. The gesture and voice you used when saying "best friends" made me laugh out loud. 2. Hey, you're totally hot. 3. You think America takes elections seriously? Remember 2000? Man, that was funny. Good times.

  • Yeah. Why did you vote George Bush back into power if you all hate him so much? Heh.

  • why did we vote blair back??

  • Because Blair did alot of good for our country. He was elected in 1997 and introduced the minimum wage and educatino action zones in an attempt to tackle the problem of unemployment.

  • Well he did some good, i.e. the Northern Ireland issue. I think education has got worse under him, as has crime. Look at the prisons; they are so full that people who should be in prison are set free.

  • yes, but if people were not getting arrested for breaking laws there would be uproar still. Let's face it, you can't please everyone.

  • That's wasn't my point; if you wanna put more people in prison then build more prisons. That is not hard to work out. Blair in my opinion lied about the case for war in Iraq. He also seems to be caught up in this honours for cash affair.

  • Agreed, but how difficult is it to prove state crime? Who exactly is going to stand up to the state?

And although he misled people about the war in Iraq, mass graves were found. Surely that accounts for something?

  • I am not saying that saddam was good person. But Blair said this country was in danger and that's why the soldiers of this country needed to put their lives on the line. That was clearly untrue. Also soldiers going to Iraq are having to pay for their own army kit. That is crazy. Prince Harry for example paid £1000 for his kit. He is rich, he can afford it, many can't. I think on this issue alone Blair should be thrown out.

  • So you are saying this country ISN'T in danger despite the 7/7 bombings? And soliders know they are putting their lives on the line when they JOIN the army. They are fully aware of this. However, paying for uniforms is farsical.

  • This country was never in danger from Iraq.

  • It was and still is. We are a prime terrorist threat. Only time will tell.

Personally, I believe Canary Wharf is next on the hit list.

  • At the time Blair decided to go to war, Iraq did not pose us any serious threat. If you believe Iraq did pose a threat to us, please explain what this was. This country has faced terrorist threats for a long time, i.e. the IRA.

  • Thanks Franki! Accepted as a vid response for sure. We recently had an article on this side of the pond about how David Cameron is using online video very well, and that his model should be what candidates adopt over here. Check that out, I think it's called "webcameron."

  • No problem at all. I will be researching David Cameron anyway and his weed smoking antics back in University. Who hasn't done it?
