  • so far better comparing to the other yul gok demonstrations. ughhhh the other ppls keep bouncing and it looks like their dancing.

  • @meepmeep95 ur suppose to make it look like dancing so far they doin it wrong because there are new ways to block yes i take taekwondo

  • there are alot of errors but are very minor ones, hes got the basic technique and a pretty good side kick O.o

  • @HollywoodKendrick this is s hooking block, hooking block grasp- pull onto reverse punch :)

  • Nice and neat, good job... (a fellow 3rd Dan)

  • PLEASE tell me there are more of these videos.....I'm dying to see more. I need more...where can I find these?

  • the kicks should be middle section...

  • Comment removed

  • @darkedge3 Nope low section. The low kick is performed just below the waist height. Refer to the 15vol encyclopedia, vol 9.

  • im a blue tag and i can do better

  • yul gok has a lot of different variations on the part beofre the kick and grab, i see like 4 different variations this one, a breathing excercise(the one i was taught), knife guard to elbow and punch , and something else :S hmmm

  • The guy is doing the pattern really well I just think he needs some more control with his hooking blocks.. also his slow moevements at the beginning were a little to fast!!!

  • i know sliding in a anulsogi is dificult on bricks

  • Everyone saying he's doing it wrong, every school teaches it a different way. Although it's not how I personally do it, it's how he was taught by his instructor, so it's fine. Every school does it differently.

  • hey this man is doing great

theres heaps of styles of tkd all 4 of the ones ive done are different

  • his stances are great but his inner forearm blocks are terrible

  • Listen up everybody... This guy is doing the form exactly the way the founder of tkd intended. Its called sine wave. The force is generated in part by the "bounce" action. Don't believe? Try for yourself. Read Gen Choi's encyc.

  • @Theophilus1978 What is he doing at 0:25?

  • I hate this pattern. Won Hyo/Joong Gun rules (L)

  • One of the more fun techniques, I must say.

    That or Won-Hyo.

  • Um, at 0:16, I beleive it's a outside block not a backfist.

  • Look like a inner forarm block to me. Like the way I was taught.

  • yes

  • no he did do an outside block but he didn't do it at an angle where his fist is levelled with his shoulder, he does it so weirdly because he's bringing his fist above shoulder height

  • I'm sorry, I meant that the hands should not stop DURING the technique. Of course, after the technique, there is no other option but to stop the motion. My bad.

  • ehm.. I know there are certain differences between different countries' ways in doing tuls, but.. His technique might need a touch of relaxation. His technique is quite stiff.

Relaxed muscle is faster, and thus can produce more force.

One other thing, you should never stop your hands' movement completely. That bodes ill to your strength.

  • i kick his ass in Yul- Gok!

  • I'm starting Yul-Gok tonight! :)

  • nice i know Won-Hyo now i'm almost ready for Yul- Gok

  • hehe
