The gnasher is good but it is a really inconsient shotgun sometimes u pull off shit like this and sometimes it takes about 4 to 5 shots to kill someone aleast the sawed off is one hit kill everytime no bull shit when you use it

@XBUGMANX You dont aim to the left when your not sighted, you have to align your shot with the angle of your guys shotgun if that makes any sense.

@BigDave3066 The best way to aim while blindfiring the shotgun is to aim your shots just right of your characters head. Imagine a rectangular box with the tip of the shotty being the bottom right hand corner. Your players shoulder being the bottom left hand corner and your players hear being the top left hand corner. You should aim your shots for the top right corner.

I know at least 60% of players will use the shotgun because it's powerful but really if you played campaign or horde you would see epic had different plans for multiplayer but I'm really not sure if I will play multiplayer in gow3 if everyone uses shotguns like gow1,and gow2

But you'll be seeing people use the lancer and hammerburst Retro. mostly because they do damage when you bring them down lol.

@Dunskap kind of a moot point dude. At least the sawed off only gets one shot before you have so spend like 8 seconds reloading it and even then you are only likely to get at most two kills. The gnasher can, if in the right hands, kill the entire enemy team and then some before needing to reload, and like rmaldo27 said, it doesn't even have to be on target to do that. It's funny how it's supposed to be your secondary weapon, but people can use it like its not. Gnasher = Overpowered, nuff said.

Lancer + Sawed-off. Lobby is using Gnasher? Lancer + Gnasher. That's how this game is played, you use what the community is using.

In terms of rifles, anyhow. Retro Lancer most of the time, but if everyone's using it, I go Hammerburst.

For shotguns, I take the Sawed-Off with my retro, and the Gnasher for my hammer. Just so I don't have a range dead zone.

@Dunskap Well I guess the surplus population of Gears players are Bad and or New as you put it. In the matches I've been playing the motto seems to be: When the going gets tough, break out the sawed-offs. No matter what the rank of the enemy team, I always seem to get gibbed by sawed-offs. As I said earlier, I use the gnasher 90% of the time for the simple fact that it's the most versatile weapon in the game, but when I get plastered by sawed-offs 12 times in a row I tend to want payback.

If you look CLOSELY, you will see he had shot the gun on the character, and with the help of Client side hit detection, he still got the kill, it just didn't register until later. The game wouldn't just give him a random kill. ALSO, two of the enemies he shot were already damaged, as you can tell from the points he got from the first two kills. He earned the kill, the game wouldn't award him otherwise.

@rmaldo27 when i play versus lvl80 and higher i MUST hit the target... if i miss the first shot my ennemy will 80% of time kill me. if you dont know how to aim well dont play with the gnasher but if you play with the sawed-off, you ruin the game so much. so go practice your aiming and play with gnasher.

- gnasher is not overpowered, only very good player know how to clutch a team
