Zachary Quinto's Acting skills got a Good workout in Star Trek 11.He was businesslike in his scenes at Starfleet command and with Captain Pike ( Perfect recasting ! ), He was tense and able to hide the fact that he was as scared as anyone when left in command of the ship, he overly defended himself in front of the crew and in front of young Kirk. That showed he was unsure as to what to do. So following Orders made him look good and it wouldn't get him into Trouble.
