Green lasers have the highest power levels with blue and orange having very low power levels.

i have a question about some of these lasers, i plan on buying one sometime soon (one that will burn) but i would like to know if i would use it to burn paper in the house and it burns through, will it burn other items in the backround? what is a safe distance to shine on human Skin with that? or is there? =D please awnswer, would be greatly appriciated

At 150mW or less, a laser will burn blackened paper at a range of around 10cm or less. If you have a wall say 50cm or more from the laser it will not be burnt or damaged.

A safe distance to shine on human skin depends on the power of the laser and skin color. Roughly speaking at more than 20cm to 30cm skin will not burn.

I wish this was available when I got my Aurora GP 150. It won't light matches even with a black sharpie mark and new batteries. It does make the black stuff smoke, though. I made a video writing in a black takeout container - check my profile for the laser writing video.

Judging by what we see here, the AuroraGW 150 looks like a better deal than the pulsed GP.

i should have read what i wrote before posting... the AuroraGP 150 is a fantastic laser, been great fun and I'm not the least bit unhappy with it. Just looks like the AuroraGW 150 has more burning power. Nice video - they always look better in real life.
