@4cruizn Congratulations!!! I'm afraid mine might blow at 120,000 miles. The car is only at 96,000. What did you do to prevent it? Thanks for the feedback.
@MatthewMatician All you have to do keep up with the radiator fluid. Make sure that it's full at all times. I kept doing that and it never blown once.
They don't make cars like this anymore... sad. I have a 2005 RL and 92 Legend which I just got with 130K. Hoping to hit the road soon across the US with the Legend.
Truly an accomplishment. A true testiment to Honda and how regular maintenance is all you need. I'm sure many have said this, but never let go of her. Take care.
How long have you had this Legend? This is very impressive. I wanted to get a Legend but everyone said it's known not to be good with head gaskets. How do you keep it running this long????? And that car is sexy :)
Nice going. Congrats! I have a 91, 5spd, lookn to swap to a type 2 from japan, maybe i'll have better luck with since I blew a H2O pump on da original engine @ 224k miles.
dude you should retire him at 500000 and preserve it. Not many of those left in the world. Turn it into a classic car plates and all....lol. Still looks good too. How do you keep your engine so clean? anyway hope to see him turn 5 soon....
@mi777ke777 Engine bay doesn't get too bad here in AZ, just a little dusty from time to time. I use wax on all the painted parts and Aero 303 protectant on plastic/rubber stuff.
@4cruizn Love the car and the miles you put on it. Burns me up that only in the US, the Legend name was dropped. If I can be nosy, what do you do for a living that has you driving so much?
All Original! nice
