None of these type of old beats is on that street scholars that just came out. There's 2 or 3.The rest is new shit and aint as good.Death row fucked the fans on this album.I gotta rip all this old shit off you tube to bump in my ride.
@therealstrik9 thanks cuz I was just about to go out on my lunch break and cop this...So Death Row is trying to trick us with the old banana in the tailpipe trick again huh??? just ruined a 100 million dollar company..makes no sense...
@therealstrik9 I wish they wouldve dropped the OG album, but the only wack songs on it are 2, 5 (well 5 is kinda wack) and that lil wayne (who I can't stand) imitator on songs 6 and 7. And all 3 of those songs arent even produced by Sam. I was feelin all the other tracks especially "the survivor" "what I'm looking 4" "cold world" and "uncle sam" had a funky beat, and of course the OG's. Sam produced that horror sounding beats back in the day, which are tight, but he over did it a lil w/ that
@therealstrik9 I like the music to be versatil ealbum, not some horror movie sounding shit on almost every track. Don't get me wrong I like 'em a lot. I just think he over did it. So w/ this album it's a lil more versatile. I don't know why the hell he put that lil wayne wannabee on there his album isn't meant to go mainstram. The other thing is I love the 90's sound the most when it comes to hiphop, but certain sounds get a lil dated like this song. While let's say I dunno the Twinz conversation
@therealstrik9 is something I can bump to this day (that'a just an example that came to my head, there's many-many others. I like that gangsta shit, but not all the time, I'm a lil more laid back these days, and prefer g-funk summertime music over the gangbang shit. most of the time Don't get me wrong I still bump shit like hollow-tip, younglife's "thugg muzikk", kill-kill (the guy pac stole the dear mama concept from) ect. and of course Rick James who lol did songs w/ snoop
@deathrowunreleased he was dre is a fucking fraud man. if it aint daz he stole it from its sneed or scott storch. why do u think he hasnt dropped detox yet. bekuz he aint got ghost producer smh
@siwooot Yea he was and he also was the man behind Dre's "Keep their heads ringin". The record label decided to put Ice Cube on NBK and take out Sam Sneed. This has all been revealed in a recent interview with Sam.

lol good thing i can read backwards almost fluently
this beats sounds so similar to Natural Born Killaz beat, makes me wonder if Sam Sneed was really the main producer of that track.
siwooot 2 years ago
@siwooot Sam Sneed produced The Heist. Dre like it so he and sneed tweaked it and it became NBK. thats why sneed is on the OG version of NBK.
jsil5484 2 years ago
is this speculation?

I've heard that info.
