I think most people who have actually watched the full testimony and questioning from the senate commitee in regards to Anita Hill would agree that senator Specter is speaking in all honesty and objectivity.

There are to many holes in Anita Hill's story.

A sexist snake, the kind who would attack a rape victim and assume the rapist was telling the truth. Time has told that Hill's character is impeccable, and Specer's is dubitable. He was old fashioned then, and super out of date now.

But it wasnt and isnt about the doing the right then or now. Its all about him. Spector is so vain about his importance to this country. So he used Ms Hill as he saw fit to further his media exposure then to show him a champion of the US Justice system and in the same vain today, when he is changing parties, his true colors as flying high.

Now he as a man, knows how a woman who was sexual harassed should conduct her self after an sexual harassment incident and so if she was indeed sexual harassed, in his opinion it didnt happen.

Specter will be dethroned via the current process of choosing the newest Supreme Court Justice. This was Spector's spectacle, trying to save Thomas by ignoring whether Ms Hill was sexual harassed by the red herring of how she testified at the Thomas candidacy hearing.

And too, he just didn't have the courage to say he thought she was lying!
