you no i have to admit that I saw the picture of this young lad with fucked up looking blonde hair, and thought that I would watch the video just to see how bad he was. Well I am eating my own words right now. Great interpretation, this kid plays better than I do I think.
So we totally were looking at the real Robert Johnson video and I yelled "I wanna see this white kid try it!" and we clicked and went "HOLY SHIT THAT WHITE KID IS KILLIN IT!!!" Rock on Brah!
Brother man F-ing Killed it. Fantastic job. I am shocked how few hits this video has considering the talent contained. I've been searching for a good visual reference for this song and no other posting has come close. CHEERS
Hey man, I'm a 57 year old multi-instrumentalist and I've been enjoying myself playing bass to you for the last half-hour. Wonderful! Great playing and singing! I'll be showing you to all of my students. Cheers!
I think it all starts with RJ. If you wanna play like the blues greats you gotta learn from who they learned from and not them. But you rock and im taking notes man, thanks for the posts.

@waveman1981 - There are plenty of greats before RJ that it starts with. One of them being Son House, who taught RJ much of what he knows about playing and slide playing also.
@CletusColtrane - A well documented blues myth yes. Those of us living in the real world who know about blues history will tell you, along with the late Muddy Waters who said it in an interview himself, that Son House is the one who taught Robert Johnson. All this deal with the devil stuff sounds good for folklore but simply isn't true.
@waveman1981 check out lonnie johnson, blind lemon jefferson, son house, skip james. all recorded before robert johnson and can be heard in many rj recordings.
Fab. I am a 58 year old Englishman and I play guitar and I love Blues - but this is class. Just watched you 6 times. Robert Johnson is my fav blues music style and you are WONDERFUL !. ENJOY!
Now listen here young man. I have just played you 6 times over. I am so jealous of your ability to play this song. I am a 58 year old Englishman and I play some guitar and love blues - particularly ROBERT JOHNSON. You are CLASS A. If you were ever short of money - just do that !! I feel priviliged to have seen you.
very very good! I can play that as most serious guitarist can but there is no way I could sing and play that fluidly. Keep it up and go all the way don't let your talent go to waste!
As a 53 year old guy, it warms my heart that there are people out there, your age, that can dig Robert Johnson's music, and do such a great job of playing it.
that .. that right there... is guna get you sooo much pussy kid!!! good stuff keep it up
